Michi ni suwari-komi, umi wo mitsumeteru
Yaketa asphalt hana wo tsuku nioi
Toumei na ase ga mune ni shimi konde
Usure yuku kioku boku ga kiete iku
Watching the ocean from the roadside
Scent of asphalt filling my nostrils
Clear sweat soaking into my heart
Memories fading, I'm disappearing
Kako no mado wo koji-ake teritsukeru
Hizashi ga jama da yo to iki wo tometemo
Boku ga koko ni iru kagiri
kokoro wa sukoshi yogoreteru
Setsunai to chiisana koe tsubuyaita
Ikiteru akashi ga mienakute
Forcing open the window to the past, it burns
Sunlight in its way, even when I hold my breath
As long as I'm here
My heart will be a little stained
Murmuring despair in a tiny voice
I can't see any reason to live
Umi no soko fukaku nemuru omoide wa
Donna hikari sae kage ni kaete iku
Bouhatei no ue miageta sora sae
Yume no samasu hodo aokunakatta ne
My slumbering memories, deep as the ocean floor
Slip back into the shadows no matter the light
Even the sky above the crashing surf
Isn't as empty as waking from a dream
Toki wa mou sude ni kitto shitte iru
Boku ga hateru basho wo kioku no hate wo
Kussetsu suru taiyou wa
shizuka ni kakete yoru ni naru
Kaerou to dare ka no uta ga kikoeru
Saigo no boku ga kieru umi de
I know that it's much too late to reach
My final destination, my heart's boundary
The refracting sun silently sets
And becomes the night
I can hear someone singing, to return
To the ocean of my end
Tatta hitori no
Boku ga koko ni iru kagiri
kokoro wa sukoshi yoboreteru
Setsunai to chiisana koe tsubuyaita
Ikiteru akashi ga mienakute
All alone
As long as I'm here
My heart will be a little stained
Murmuring despair in a tiny voice
I can't see any reason to live
Kaerou to dare ka no uta ga kikoeru
Saigo no boku ga kieru umi de
I can hear someone singing, to return
To the ocean of my end
Comments
This is one of those weird songs with excessively cheerful music but excessively depressing lyrics ^_^; And it's Yuuki. That just makes it wrong. It's fun to listen to, though.
