aozameta yoake no naka de
furi-sosogu kanashii ryuushi
hito wa mina akumu ni yotte
genzou mo yogen mo nai

In the blooming daybreak
Sadness ceaselessly rains
We're drunk in nightmares
Without dreams or hope for the future

shizuka ni nemutta anata no kizuato
inori no kotoba de iyasou
sekihi ni kizanda kotoba wo nando mo
kuri-kaesu shi ga hoshi ni nari
asahi ni kiete yuku

Your scars sleeping quietly
Wash away with words of prayer
I read the carved epitaph
In hopes the stars will hear
But they disappear in the morning

unmei no tobira wo mamori
kanashimi no tane wo katte mo
konran ni jidai wa michite
dare hitori hokorenai yo

The doors of destiny are blocked
Even when seeds of sadness sprout
The world is full of chaos
And no one holds high their head

futatabi de-atte warai-aeru hi wo
tori-modoseru sa to tsubuyaku
keredomo naze darou namida ga afurete
tomerarenai mama hoshi ni nari
sorezore wakare yuku

The day we met and laughed
Whispers of its return
But why do the tears still flow?
Ceaselessly till they join the stars
Each going their separate ways

shizuka ni nemutta anata no kizuato
inori no kotoba de iyasou
sekihi ni kizanda kotoba wo nando mo
kuri-kaesu shi ga hoshi ni nari
asahi ni kiete yuku

Your scars sleeping quietly
Wash away with words of prayer
I read the carved epitaph
In hopes the stars will hear
But they disappear in the morning

Comments
The Dramatic Precious songs are probably the last real "Weiß"-sounding songs done by Nishioka and Mind Dive that preserve the "lackluster greed for life" theme that many of the prior songs had. Meanwhile it has a lovely tune and the shuffling-feet music make for a very very nice song. DBE's version where the entire Weiß sings is one of my WK favorites.
