Koyasu Takehito
toge no aru kotoba dake
kono machi wa utsushiteru itsumo
meguri au hito ga nagareru
Bitings words
Are all this city has to show
The crowds blindly brushing by
shinjitara kuzuresou
fuan dake dakishimeru hibi yo
moshi mo koko ni anata ga
itara hanasanai no ni
If you believe, it will crumble
In these uncertain days
But, if you are here
I will never let you go
Miki Shinichirou
tokei no oto ni oi-kakerareru
wasureru koto de kyou no hi wo
boku wa ikite iru yo
The tick of the clock pursues me
But I will live all of today
With what I forgot of before.
Weiß
anata to boku to no sabishisa wo
kasaneru you ni shite kuchizukeru
futari ga itameta kizuato ga
utsukushii wakare wo tsugeru darou
Your and my loneliness
Presses heavily like a kiss
The scars of being together
Tells us of a beautiful parting.
Seki Tomokazu
nayamashii yoru dake ga
ai no kage shitte iru kitto
michikakeru tsuki wo samayou
Only the melancholy nights
Know the shadow of love
Led astray by the guiding moon
eien ga owattara
munashisa ni tsutsumareru sotto
sora ni kieru tsubame no
tsubasa boku ni attara
If even forever can end
Then futility surrounds us, gently
If only I had the wings
Of the swallow disappearing in the sky
Yuuki Hiro
shizuka na ame ni yasashiku yureru
nanika wo motome sono kawari
boku wa ai wo nakusu
Swaying in the gentle quiet rain
I seek something, and in exchange
I'll set aside even love
Weiß
anata to boku to no kanashimi wo
itawari-au you ni dakishimeru
futari ga nozoita omoide ga
utsukushii kodoku wo egaku darou
Your and my sadness
Hurts like a tight embrace
And the memories of us together
Paint a beautiful loneliness
anata to boku to no sabishisa wo
kasaneru you ni shite kuchizukeru
futari ga itameta kizuato ga
utsukushii wakare wo tsugeru darou
Your and my loneliness
Presses heavily like a kiss
The scars of being together
Tells us of a beautiful parting.
Comments
Truly one of Weiß's "classic" songs. Beautifully composed and hauntingly sad, there's really not much else to say, other than it deserved its place as the TV's first ending theme.
