For johnnyzbabe: "old timers (chris/kevin) with a bit of others thrown in of your choice. vocal harmony group made up of children from nsync camp and backstreet camp." (the college AU)

Brian's pick was the same arrangement of U2's "All I Want Is You" that every single college a-capella group in the country was using, but Brian sounded good on lead for it, so they let it slide. Joey picked "Anna Begins" by Counting Crows, and everyone knew it was because he wanted to be able to wail out the "Her kindness bangs a gong, she's moving me along" at the end. "'Try Not To Breathe' by REM", Howie said, and refused to let anyone know why.

JC pointed at Lance. "He and I are doing AJ's arrangement of 'Mercy Street' by Peter Gabriel."

"No, we're not," Lance said.

"Yes, we are," JC said, "or I'll tell everyone about last Friday's party and the --"

"Mercy Street it is," Lance said smoothly.

Chris and Kevin were the seniors, so they got to pick two songs each. Chris was holding out for his own arrangements of Prince's "Kiss" and Radiohead's "Paranoid Android". Kevin asked for "She Talks to Angels" by the Black Crowes and "Tower of Song" by Leonard Cohen.

"This is a really eclectic concert that we're building here," Chris said, looking at the list.

"You should be used to variety by now," Kevin said, and Chris winced at the tone to it. Their fling last month hadn't ended all that well; he'd thought Kevin understood that the default condition for a hook-up was non-monogamy, and oh, he'd been wrong, wrong, wrong.
