Wanna see fanart I did of teenage!Lucius Malfoy? Sure you do, she says cheerfully. (Yes, I'm aware this is pretty random. I noticed I haven't updated for nearly four months is all - despite having been writing all that time - so grabbed the first piece that came to hand, which happened to be the Harry Potter fanart I did yesterday in between writing Lily/Narcissa femslash. I have tons of the stuff lying around. You just didn't know it. ^_^)
The first lengthy and consecutive chapters of The Berchtesgaden Debriefing are up... again. Go to fanfiction and scroll down. (Down for a year, you say? Neurotic eejit of a ficcer, you say? Well, quite. I have no defence.)
...And new layout. Thorough purge of Pagemill's wretched font code being uploaded piecemeal; everything except the front page should validate under HTML 4.01 Transitional with CSS, which means more to some browsers than others. Pretty in IE6 and Opera6.03, with or without images. Let me know if it degrades gracelessly anywhere.
Uploaded the final edit of Hit Single. See, new fic!
Some small tweaks here and there. Temporarily removed most of the links page, as they were a gnarled unholy mess, and deleted the webrings I let expire out of apathy. ^^; Linked to Mahala's Hayabusa, from her hosted story. New layout and fanfiction soon, and I mean it this time.
Not on-site, but Aesthe is running my translation of the first story in Freakjoy's "The Mirror of the Heart" series in the March/April issue. It's called - well, I called it Day of the Dead: Stolen Affections of the Jade Hairpin. It holds the distinction of being the first translation that made me as anal-retentive as one of my own pieces (the original being as perfect a four-page short story as they come): meaning that I probably would have sat on it indefinitely if I hadn't made Mimi a commitment. ^^; (In fact, just like all my own stories, I don't count it as finished. It's had a half-dozen pre-readers, three of whom made the same criticism I'm still waffling over. What happened to the woman who had no qualms over translating a volume of Bronze a night? Your guess is as good as mine.)
Behold, a fic update! The wonders never cease. In the tBD arc, Intermezzo II: Tokyo Nocturne. Short, and not new by any means - it was written last July, posted to the weblog and only lightly edited since - but I have a tendency to sit on stories that were mostly written for my own benefit. (Yes, there is an Intermezzo I. No, it's not posted. Bite me. :P)
Current-project-wise, I'm working on tBD, plus an Initial D fanfic and assorted gen Final Fantasy bunnies.
New layout. I think there's fic coming; keep checking the weblog and don't hold your breath. XD Also added a link to the livejournal account that I'm using as a ficlog.
