Tsuzuki and Hisoka find a new calling in the pages of a glossy monthly. XD This was actually a fun layout to make, even though I have no idea what menswear really costs.
Hori-sama! ^_^ I am inordinately proud of the translucent silk-scroll effect, especially since most of it was created by me out of the space where Miaka used to be. (The clone tool is a fangirl's best friend.) The kanji say "Nikutai no Yume" - in Chinese, naturally.
It's Kuja, the rather extraordinarily pretty (and underdressed, although you can't tell from this shot) villain of Final Fantasy IX. Immortal Rhythm is his theme music remix that plays through the first FMV in which he appears (in the rain, in Burmecia): think a minor-key Bach fugue laid over the beat they make you sing "we will we will rock ya" to at hockey games... ^_^;; Look, it's Uematsu-sensei, all right? He makes it work.
I thought I'd make something more delicate and pastel this time; that and the Desert Palace (the vague blue background image) is all jewels and stained glass already. Kuja could stand in a corner and fade into his interior decor, basically. :P
What I think of as the 'London/Amsterdam Schudich'... *laughs* First time I'm inflicting my fanart on you, and it doesn't even look like I drew it. My usual CG style is more like Tsuchiya Kyoko's. (Really.) But I was aiming for a sort of flat 'yellow book' Beardsley woodcut effect, and I think I got it. (Figure out the song lyrics in the BG for a prize...)
