Schudich stalks Crawford during a Schwartz investigation into a money laundering scheme - and for once the mission is the subtle metaphorical heart of the tale. (As subtle as anything involving office tower bombs can be, that is.) Soma's first fanfic, so she says, and for her sins it leaves even the UST junkies itching for a continuation. If I were a selfless, kindly person I'd warn her off this hobby, but I want to see her write more. ^_^

I don't write for CLAMP series, because there are authors out there who practically define fan-view thereof for me -- and I find myself with nothing to add. Which doesn't mean I don't read CLAMP fics. :) At any rate, here's Mahala's little Lantis-and-Eagle songfic, which I'd call a PWP if that terminology could conjure up the sweet and aching-tender sentiment that permeates this story. A subtle little tale and vewwy pwetty art -- for the love of Bob don't let her tell you otherwise. :P I'd say it was highly original too -- when was the last time you read shounen-ai with a political moral in't? -- but really it's much more so if you're... not obsessed with circa-Confucius BL the way we are... ^^; I learnt the story of Mizi Xia even before my hideously knowledgeable father did, since modulo Communist-era education he had to read it on the 'net like everyone else. (Ha!)

But I digress. ^^;;;
