Williams Elaine Evanheart
Age - 32Appearence - Williams looks almost nothing like his brother. He's a little taller, grey eyed, and has black hair. He looks more like a human / Dexian cross then a Dexian. He usually dresses casually, and doesn't seem to put much value in his appearence - save, of course, when looking good has it's advantages. Williams' hair is dead flat and often falls in his eyes. His hair cut ranges from ineptly chopped short to long and tied back.
Backstory - Williams is the other illigitamate child from the Evanheart family. Originally, Trevor was the heir, but when Trevor broke his arm, Williams replaced him. Williams, for as long as anyone can remember, was the rival of Trevor. Being the heir, Williams is presently the favored son, and joined the army later then Trevor. He's presently an Envoy.
When Williams was eight, Yonathen Iglesias drugged him, and set a mind control spell on him. Williams true personality still exists, but it is largely subsumed by his controlled personality. He is only uncontrolled when Yonathen allows him to be. The controlled state (called Kageashira) is activated by a set of questions. These questions each has a set answer, and each one is tied to the events that happened when Williams was eight.
The first question is, "Where are you?" This question is partly intended to allow Yonathen to know where Williams is. The second question is, "What is your name?" The answer is Yonathen's nickname for Williams - namely, "Willy-love." The third question is, "What happened on January 13th?" The answer is, "I entered into the service my master." At this point, Williams voice usually cracks a half octave higher and begins to resemble his controlled voice. The last question is, "Who is your master?" The answer is, "Duke Yonathen Iglesias," or some form of the Duke's title. The question order can be varied, but the final few questions are understandably much more difficult for Williams to answer.
Williams cannot interrupt the sequence, but any question will break it. If the sequenced is paused, Williams will become agitated and attempt to continue the series.
Personality - Williams is a soft spoken man. He talks like he carefully is considering every word the he uses. Honor and truth are very important to him. Williams is happiest with a large book in some obscure language - and if he has said book, he won't put it down until he's done reading. He's fiercely loyal to his friends and very protective of what he cares about. He also has practically no self-esteem.
Trevor Olan Evanheart
Age - 30Appearence - Trevor is blonde haired and blue eyed. He looks sweet and innocent, but - like most politician's sons, he isn't as naive as he seems.
Backstory - Bastard son of Lord Evanheart, Trevor was set up as the heir due to familial resemblance. And he was a cute kid.
Arm was injured by a dretch in a riding accident at age 11, and he was set down from being the heir. His brother Williams replaced him as the heir. Trevor worked in the priesthood for a while, and then went from there to the army. He started in the supply trains and worked his way up to being a general.
Williams has attempted to kill him, and attempted to control his mind under the orders of Duke Yonathen.
Famous Incidents - When he was about 11, Trevor went out riding. He dismounted to walk around for a bit, and left his laywarch tied to a tree and eating some grass. A wandering dretch (summoned demon type creature) attacked suddenly. In an attempt to protect his laywarch, Trevor lunged forward, and the dretch's claws caught him in the right shoulder. The force of the blow sent him to the ground and the dretch's other hand ripped down the other side of Trevor's arm.
Trevor vaugely remembers kicking the dretch away, and killing it with his sword. He doesn't remember getting back on his laywarch, or riding back to the Evanheart castle. The healer there managed to save his arm, but the damage was bad enough that Trevor never regained full use of his arm. He can lift light objects and flex his hand, and that's about it.
Personality - Trevor is very charasmatic, diplomatic, with a wry gentle sense of humor. Likely will work his way to an ulcer from worry and paper work.
Magbringdion Canlar
Age - 30Appearence -
Human form - Mag is a tall strong man. He fits in the Ni'Rushkan body type of stocky and strong. His hair is brown and his eyes are brown - nothing remarkable either way.
Were form - Mag looks like a standard grey wolf if a little larger then most. He loves chasing rabbits.
Backstory - Magbringdion is the son of the leaders of the Clan called Canlar in the Mainland. They lived near a low rocky set of hills, and were fairly friendly with the locals. Mag had a sister, Anastasia, and his sister would someday lead the clan. When Mag was about ninish he had a pretty serious crush on a friend named Dmitri.
However, a man from Dexia appeared one day with many soldiers. Mag was nine. His family were pacifists. The man from Dexia was Duke Yonathen Iglesias. Yon wanted Mag's family to join with him, but they refused.
And they all were slain. Mag survived. His sister survived.
They both were taken back to Dexia with Yonathen. Magbringdion met Williams, and on the solstice, Mag and his sister were free. Mag works in bookstores - after the war he starts his own. He carries a knife that Williams gave him.
Personality - Mag is fatherly toward most friends. He is perfectly willing to attack enemies, and makes friends quickly. Starshky is very important to him.
