Old Idle Ramblings
because it was just getting to be a bit too long... ^^;;

February 27, 2001:
12:00 a.m.
--*stares all around here* Dammit, I gotta pack. >.< Actually, I don't even know if my roomies and I /got/ the apartment we applied for yet. And we *have* to move out of here on the 28th. >.< I hate moving. Hate. Hate. Hate. I can't wait until we're done moving. I'll be *so* much happier and less stressed then.
--On a happier note... ^_____________^ I got my two Initial D doujinshi in the mail today. Mweeheeheehee! Ryoupon pounces Kyoichi inna hospital. >D The other one... *eyes the dj* I can't tell who half the people are... They all look the same. o.O;
--......I dun wanna pack... o.o;;; >.< *goes off to pack*
--Dammit, Geocities is acting up again! Grar! Half an hour and it *still* hasn't saved this damn thing! >.<

February 25, 2001:
11:40 p.m.
--I hate being lectured. >.< Let's just leave it at that.
--Whoo boy, I've kept myself in a pleasant intoxicated haze the entire weekend. ^________________^v
--I HATE being lectured.

February 22, 2001:
10:45 p.m.
--Whoo boy, I'm tired. ~.~ With my new job, my old job, and the private tutoring I do, I'm basically workin' 11-12 hours a day. I'm fargin' exhausted. ~.~ All of which means that I have practically no time for writing lately. ARGH! I want to, but I don't think it'd be a good idea to fiddle with writing at work until I've been there just a wee bit longer. And I'm so exhausted when I come home that I fiddle on the 'net for about an hour or so, and then crash right into bed. ~.~ Hopefully, I'll get used to the schedule soon, and after I get myself moved into a new apartment, mebbe I can stop one of my tutoring gigs or something. ~.~
--Oh, and the Palmer/Heidigger ficcy? *points at Rituko* It's ALL her fault! Really! I was innocently lying around, just chillin', and Rit gets it in her head that she wants to write something and what does she write? A nummy piece for Hwang'n Kilik? No. More of her excellent 'Past Imperfect'? No. The Itsuki/Takumi she keeps threatening to write? No. She goes ahead and starts cackling as she writes Heidigger'n Palmer! And reading it out loud as she types it, to boot! o.O; *sweatdrops* Although, after awhile, I must say that I started to get into it as much as she was. We ended up pretty much competing to come up with the squickiest ideas we could. Just to letcha know, she won. How? Like this.

Rit: Maybe I should have Heidigger do some salad tossing...
cys: *kablinkies* Salad tossing?
Rit: *eyes cys* ...
cys: What?
Rit: You really are innocent aren't you?
cys: *kablinkies s'more* Yeah yeah, just tell me.
Rit: *sweatdrops* Well... It's when you lick the ass...
cys: *lightbulb going off in her head* Oh! Rimming! *sweatdrops*
Rit: *sweatdrops* Yeah...
cys: *puts together salad tossing with the image of Heidigger'n Palmer...* ... o.O; O.o; O.O >.< EWWWWWW! EW! EW! EW!

And that's how Rit won our impromptu squick contest. Me, I ended up just cracking her up with my bad, flowery contributions of romance-readin' experience. ^^;;

February 19, 2001:
11:50 p.m.
--Hmm... Seems like 11:50's the time for me to do my ramblings... ^^
--Found a new apartment today. Grar. I hate moving. That means I gotta start packing soon. *looks around her room* I don't got a lotta shit, but still... *sighs* And I gotta come up with first month's rent and the damn security deposit. *sighs again*
--I start my new job tomorrow, though, and I'm excited 'bout that. ^____________^ I'm working for the Korean Immigrant Worker's Advocates. *grins* I get to be a ravin' social advocate again. "Si se puede!" and all that. XD Not all that much money involved in it, but with the private tutoring that I do and the freelance writing, my income should increase substantially. Which is always good. ^_^v
--Since I seem to have a hang of the basics of html coding, I think it's time for me to move on to style sheets. o.o;; But that means I gotta add the style-sheet coding to all my pages...and I'm really, really, *really* lazy... *cries* T.T
--Oh, and Rituko came to visit me this weekend. XD So much fun. ^________^ We went to the arcade almost every night, and played lots'n lotsa ParaParaParadise (damn addictive game, lemme tell ya) and DDR. Whee! I passed 'Stomp to my Beat'! My new favorite song on DDR is 'Dream a Dream'. It's got 'Hall of the Mountain King' inn't. PPP has two Initial D songs in it. 'Night of Fire'. *grins* Damn fun song. And Rit tells me that 'Burning Desire' is on it, too, but we haven't seen it yet. She says it's prolly on Expert Mode, which means I won't see it for quite a while yet. ^^;;
--Went semi-cosplay shopping. Got an idea of what I'll need to get to make my Zack costume. Hopefully, I'll have it done in time for Fanime, and I'll definitely have it done by Anime Expo. Though, I'm gonna be a damn scrawny'n short Zack. *sweatdrops*

February 14, 2001:
11:50 p.m.
--Heh, it's still Valentine's Day. I may not have a Valentine, but I still got a whole shitload of candy today. ^_______________________^ All the kids in my class gave me candy so I foresee days of sugar highs for me. XD Other than that? Nothing new.
--I'm definitely going to start working on the original fics that I rediscovered earlier. *grins* I'm using Korean mythology and folktales as the basis for my fics, and doing things to them that would give my poor parents heart-attacks if they ever saw'm. *cackles* Mweeheeheehee! I'm *so* gonna go to Hell for this. XD

February 13, 2001:
1:20 a.m.
--Grar! Geocities is being a bitch. >.<
--Mweeheeheehee! I already won two Initial D djs from Ebay, and it looks like I may win my third Ini-D dj, now! XD That makes one Ryou/Kei dj (I thought it'd be a Takepon one, though *pouts*), one Kyo/Ryou dj, and if I win this one, a Taku/Kei one. *sweatdrops*
--Speaking of the Kyo/Ryou dj... Everyone meet Kyoichi. ~.~ He showed up one day and informed me that I needed to get myself a Lancer Evolution III. I told him if I had the money to plunk down for an Evo, it'd be a VI. XD *eyes Kyoichi* I have no clue what to do with Evo-boy, though... Mebbe he can help me in GT2! ^_____^v Rally racing! I finally got my International Racing License in the game so once I win enough prize money to get me a rally car, it's off to the rally races for me! Whee!

February 10, 2001:
11:11 p.m.
--My God, I'm tired... ~.~ I keep forgetting that I'm not in college anymore and /need/ my sleep. :P
--Aiya, I just got me a set of four new tires, and that's just busted up my bank account for the next week. >.< But, on the other hand, I feel a helluva lot safer now. ^^;;
--Ooh, I talked with a friend of mine, and she said that if I went after-market, I could get a new bumper for about $300. Which isn't too bad. If I do, I may go ahead and get the 'samurai' front. XD

February 9, 2001:
7:30 a.m.
-- ... O.O *whimpers* I almost killed myself this morning. I was driving home after staying out all night, and it started to sprinkle. Pretty soon, it was raining pretty hard. I slowed down from 85 to about 70, figuring that'd be slow enough to be safe and still fast enough to get me home in about half an hour. Only, I musta forgot that my tires were getting pretty bald 'cause I started this gentle turn that I can /usually/ take at 90 and I start hydroplaning like crazy. *whimpers* I started to spin to the right and I didn't stomp on the brakes or countersteer. I did like they said, let go of the gas and steered /into/ the skid. And I almost made it. I bumped into the center divider of the freeway and then did a complete 360. *whimpers again* After that, I made /damn/ sure to go real slow 'till I got home and then checked the front of my car. *cries* I got this /huge/ scratch (hell, it's not even a scratch and more like an entire foot of my front left bumper's paint was completely scraped off) and my bumper near my front left headlight is a little warped, but other than that, I escaped purty unscathed. But still, that new bumper's gonna cost me a fortune! *wails* But, thank God, there weren't a lot of cars at the time that it happened, /and/ I escaped uninjured. *shudders* o.o;;;

February 8, 2001:
11:00 p.m.
--*grins* Guess what I saw today? I went into a small Korean gift-shop so that I could buy a refill for my car air-freshener. As I walk in and go over to the section with all the car fresheners, what do I see hanging in little packets by Takahashi Ryousuke'n Keisuke car fresheners! XD I didn't get one, but if there'd been a Takepon or Shinpon freshener, dude, you know I woulda snatched that shit up so fast the poor clerk's head woulda spun. *giggles*
--I was looking through an older notebook of mine, and I found the beginnings of an original fic of mine that isn't too bad. I'm thinking of developing it more and actually putting it up here. :P
--Mweeheeheehee! I also dug up an old PWP I've been working on for *ages*. Seph'n Tseng smut! XD Must work on this again... *grins*

February 2, 2001:
1:15 p.m.
--Hee hee, didn't do any rambling when I put up the third chapter of 'Dressing Up', but I figured y'didn't /really/ need me to do that, right? ^_~
--Aiya. I've been revising Innocence, and it's a lot more work than I was expecting. My writing style has changed a bit since I first started this story, and it shows. I use a lot less fragments for one thing. But mostly, it's the fact that I'm changing all of the tenses that were written in first-person so that they're the same. ~.~ For a girl that's lazy, that's a lotta work, but I will get it done. Hopefully, soon. v^^;;

January, 28, 2001:
10:34 p.m.
--Man, my friends and I didn't get to go snowboarding today. Through no fault of our own, either. ~.~ We got halfway up the mountain and then had to pull over to put our chains on. Unfortunately, we spent the next two hours figuring out that one of the chains we had just bought was defective and wouldn't fit on the car no matter what we did. *grumbles*
--Saw 'Shadow of the Vampire' tonight. o.O;; Weird...
--Watched the SuperBowl today as well, 'cause I wanted to catch the X-Box media blitz, but didn't see hide nor hair of it during the time I was watching. *pouts* 'Stead, I got to see the Ravens pounding the Giants into the dirt. :P Yay. Bu~t, I got to partake of a little relaxing that made the game more focusing than it generally would be. ^_______~

12:00 a.m.
--*bouncing* Look! Look! I wrote another smut ficcy! Whee! XD Now I only got... *counts* ten unfinished fics to work on. ^^;; My next target is the Sephiroth/Tseng PWP. *grins* I figure since I'm in this smut writing mood, anyway, might as well finish up all my PWPs, right? ^_~
--Yet another reason for me to be happy. I'm going snowboarding! ^_______________^ I'll be falling down a lot, of course, but damn is it fun. I vow to learn how to turn using my front edge tomorrow! ^_^v
--Aiya, must also work on the pajama party fic I promised Hase'n Mizu. ^^;; Don't expect too much from it except lotsa silliness and lotsa self-insertion. I remember, I once vowed that I'd never write myself into any story of mine, but this one was so silly anyway, that I figured I may as well have fun to my li'l rabid-fangirl heart's content. XD
--Ooh! I bought Stephen King's 'On Writing'. Damn that's a good book if you want to learn about how a very good story-teller writes. *grins* Of course, part of the reason that I like the book is 'cause I happen to agree with a lot of what he says. Not all of it, of course, but quite a lot of it is very similar to the things that I've learned over the years myself. XD

January 24, 2001:
--C is for cookie, that's good enough for me. C is for cookie, that's good enough for me. C is for cookie, that's good enough for me! Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C... XD
--Been a few days since I fiddled with stuff here. *grins* I've missed it.

January 21, 2001:
11:30 p.m.
--Heh heh... Happy Birthday to me! ^_^ In honor of my special day, I went ahead and indulged. *grins* Didj'all notice the itty bitty picture of Ky on the front? He's from Guilty Gear. Inn't he purty? ^_^v
--Other than that, I didn't do a damn thing this weekend. Not a single damn thing. XD

January 19, 2001:
2:44 a.m.
--What the hell is going on?! o.O; I've been having some trouble with the stupid main page all night! *pokes geocities* Grrr....

--I'm gonna stop announcing that I made even more ramblings in the updates, 'cause a lot of times, I'm sure that the only thing I'll be updating for long periods of time is the idle ramblings I do, and I figure it'll look kinna silly if all my updates were just: 'more ramblings', 'more ramblings, 'more ramblings'. :P

1:31 a.m.
--Wow, over one whole day since I did anything here... ^^;;

--Heh heh, I put up my 'why cys should be committed' section, and boy did it turn out longer than I expected... *sweatdrops*

--If you'll notice, I also decided to make another section on my page for my not so idle ramblings. *grins* Notice that I like to talk alot? ^^;

January 16, 2001:
11:35 p.m.
--There are some very, very disturbing things out there on the 'net... o.o;;

--Whee! Hase's making me a links banner! *bounces* I can't wait!

--I went and got what I think are all of the limericks I did for both ff-yaoi and on hase's bbs. *blinks* dude, I made more of those silly things than I thought... o.o;

--I've also been reading what I've got posted of my fics, and... *sweatdrops* Man, I gotta fix some of those things... o.o;

--Now that most of what I've got planned for my site is up, I've been trying to actually write some more, since some people keep commenting on my slow ass... *eyes Rituko* But it doesn't seem to be going anywhere right now. So far, all I'm doing is adding little bits'n pieces to all of my unfinished fics instead of sitting down and concentrating on one. :P

12:45 a.m.
--See, Rit got me to get a counter. *grins* Now all I need is the guestbook.

12:11 a.m.
--Rituko reminded me that I needed a links section, so, there ya have it. Again, there's not much there yet, but that's 'cause I need to get permission 'fore I start putting links like crazy. *grins* She's also lobbying hard for me to get a guestbook and counter, and being the good nag-er, lobbyiest that she is, I probably will get one soon. :p

--Mwee hee hee hee! Must find a gerbil icon! *evilgrins*

* * * * * *

January 15, 2001:
7:12 p.m.
--Hmm, I seem to be doing this more often than I thought. Then again, it's probably just because I'm building my page right now. Heh, once I finally get it done, I probably won't be doing much with it. Especially considering how /slow/ I write. ^^;;

--Anyways, I put up more of my fics. That should be most of'm except for a few things I'm too lazy to do right now. *grins*

* * * * * *

January 15, 2001:
--First off, I just realized that I had a whole truckload of people to thank for their support and suggestions as I'm laboring my way through this. Rituko, Mizu no Ryu, Aurie, littlemaiko, mog, the girls of Boys Next Door, the people of ff-yaoi, and last but not least, alanna, who has offered to host me and give me unlimited diskspace. XD Whee!

--Notice the change in the background color? It's a bit of a darker blue, and is all thanks to Aururan Flash, who pointed out that the pi-er, rose, text was a wee bit hard to read. *beams* Thanks, Aurie! I think it looks much nicer this way, don't you?

--Wai! Look what Aurie gave me! It's an 'award' for my very first homepage. ^______^v Inn't she sweet?

--Did I mention how much I love my new marble-mouse? *grins* Well, I do. ^^;

--I didn't get to go snowboarding today, like I'd wanted to, but I did get to play some DDR tonight. *grins* I think I'm /finally/ getting the hang of some of the trick steps now. I can see the patterns now, at least. ^_^v

* * * * *

January 14, 2001:
--Whee! I finally got enough done, I think, to open this to the public. Of course, as I keep on building, it's probably gonna change a bit, so please be patient with me as I do.

--A couple of friends and I went to the LA Auto Show today. Oh, my God! We saw some of the nicest tricked out cars. XD

Aiya! I just found out that there's this place near where I live that can add like almost 70 hp to my car for about $2500. That includes a nos system, dual throttle, suspension and shocks, new lamps, and a couple other things. And if I want to change my spoiler, it'd only be $300 more. My God, that makes me seriously want to start saving up so that I can get my car up to about 200 hp. ^______________^

But even better! *starts jumping up and down* I saw a Skyline! I saw a Skyline! I was so giddy and smiling so hard that I actually started tearing up! *lol* The person at the booth that was hosting the Skyline was watching me and laughing because of my excited antics. ^^;

Takeshi: You are an odd person, you know that, don't you?

:P Yeah, so?

--I got a Logitech marble mouse today. *grins* Dude, I've only been using it for about 15 minutes now and am already in love with it.

--Now, back to coding, which I've noted, can become fargin' addictive. *grins'n zooms off*

back to main
