Title: Eurydiceverse
Music: I'll Be Yours by Placebo
Characters: Daniel/Cameron
Spoilers: Mostly Season 9 and 10 with a sprinkling of earlier seasons
Notes: Several months ago Sarahjane recc'd Synecdochic's fic Like Water, Lying to me knowing that it would hit just about every single one of my kinks and dammit if she wasn't right. I instantly fell in love with Eurydiceverse (the accidental series where everyone's just a little more fucked up than they really are) and to be honest I couldn't (and still can't) get enough of it.

Then one day I was listening to this song, I've had it since I first saw it vidded to Farscape and suddenly Daniel and Cameron came to my mind and just wouldn't stop. I saw Syn's story in this song and I asked her permission to vid it. *posted October 26, 2007*

Title: Ride On
Music: Night Ride Across The Caucasus by Loreena McKennitt
Characters: Ensemble
Spoilers: Stargate: Continuum
Notes: This video is the result of a certain movie taking a nose dive into my head and screaming at me to make something with it. It also shows everything that I love about our team and their ability to endure past the impossible. I'd like to thank Ivorygates for being my cheerleader through the making of this. I apologize for the size of this, but I've done the best I could getting it down given that the song is over eight minutes long. Still can't believe I even started it because of the song's length, but they pretty much called out to each other (ie: I had to or else combust) and I've never attempted something this epic before and I'm very proud of the results.

Title: The Pendulum Swings
Music: Waltzing's for Dreamers by Keith Hancock
Characters: Jack/Daniel
Spoilers: Nothing specific but lets err on the side of caution and say everything...
Notes: This video began because of Ivorygates. She enabled me when I voiced a desire to do a Jack/Daniel video by showing me this song and I fell head over heels for it, more so once she told me how she could see the way it would play out (which is why I wanted her to have co-credit for this). Since then (just over a year) I've been working on this off and on and had planned to finish it in time for her birthday back in June... didn't quite go the way I wanted. *points to date*. I've tried to show Jack and Daniel's relationship in a way that can appeal to both slash and gen fan. I hope you all enjoy it. *posted November 4, 2008*

Title: Superstar
Music: King Herod's Song (Try It And See) from “Jesus Christ Superstar” sung by Mike d'Abo
Characters: Cameron Mitchell vs. John Merrick
Spoilers: Ark of Truth
Blame: Idea & Concept: Ivorygates
Notes: From Ivorygates: It was inspired by Merrick, really. Because he's such an *insincere* Cam Mitchell fanboy, and the whole vibe he gave off really reminded me of this song. He's holding Cam to an impossible standard, wanting him to fail, and making all the time with the mockery-mock-mock. It was just an irresistible fusion to me of song and concept...

From me: Ivory mentioned the idea either on IM or in a LJ post and I volunteered because I can't deny Ivory anything, especially if it's wicked. Srly. Do I look like the type of person that'd typically vid a showtune?

Yeah, we know we're going to the Special Hell. Why do you ask? *posted June 8, 2009*

Title: Chosen Path
Music: Did My Time by Korn
Characters: Cameron Mitchell vs. John Merrick
Spoilers: Ark of Truth
Notes: Everyone thinks of Cameron Mitchell as the All-American football hero. Golden boy, fighter pilot, jock. But even a golden boy can be pushed too far, and when that happens he confronts the self he could have been ... or can still become.

In a way, this is all Ivorygates' fault for wanting Superstar. It made me want to experiment with the fight scenes to this song (which I've wanted to vid since the dawn of time) and I started throwing clips in. It was good but I felt that the timing needed to be tweaked. Cut to a year later because I'd totally forgotten about it (whoops). Then I started talking to Avaloste about vidding and showed her that old test clip and she kind of kicked me in the ass to finish my "experiment". As I worked on the video, it took a little bit but I finally found the story within it and shifted things around. So here we go... *posted June 14, 2009*
