Once again, I am updating this page that nobody ever reads. Why do I continue to do this? Boredom really. Actually, I have reason not to trust that hit counter down there, ever since Yahoo and Geocites had that little merger I've been a bit paranoid. Actually, if anyone ever DOES read this, click that little mailto link at the bottom and let me know. As is I just have the vague suspecion that Sharkey stole my little Smurf joke, that's in those archives somewhere right? The thing about how Smurves is probably the most heavily edited show there is? They bleep out every word!

Anyway, the real inspiration for this rant is...

The Anime Survival Guide

  • If you have any indication whatsoever that someone has psychic powers, STAY ON THEIR GOOD SIDE.
  • If you make a new boyfriend/girlfriend, make sure they're REALLY the correct gender, in addition to physical examination, it is also suggested to throw hot water on them. It may sound drastic, but the number of crazy crossdressing princesses and such is surprisingly large.
  • While researching actual genders, it is also recommended that you make sure they aren't arranged to be married, heck, come to think of it, any prospective boy/girlfriend probably has a boyfriend/girlfriend, or 2, or 3, so you should probably just forget the whole concept.
  • If for some reason, you manage to aquire a girlfriend with no other boyfriends AND who is actually a girl, be warned that she will hit you, a lot, for no reason, with large blunt objects, possibly those weird giant raccoon statue deals.
  • Don't get in a sword fight, even if you win, you'll almost definately get a really really nasty cut.
  • If you notice that someone's eyes don't have any highlights, RUN. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. Something very very bad is about to happen.
  • If at all possible, get yourself a giant robot ASAP, they won't nessessarily imporve your chances of survival, but hey, they're really cool!

When I started that list I figured it'd be longer... oh well. Speaking of anime, I should be getting every episode of Escaflowne very soon, yippee.
