I've heard a number of interesting news tidbits lately, thought I'd share.
Now, first off, some good news. Microsoft has officially been ruled a monopoly. About freakin' time I say! For those of you who don't know the term, a monopoly is when a company manages to eliminate all it's compitition, allowing it to do whatever it wants. This is considered, with good reason, to be an extremely evil thing, and it is ILLEGAL in this country. Also, Bill Gates typically responded with an extremely arogant believe that he's above the law.
Now for the bad news. I have just been informed that Hollywood is planning to make live action versions of various anime. This is not a good thing. From the writers of that Mod Squad remake and the dirrector of Robocop: Gunsmith Cats! Disney's Domu (don't know much about it but I hear it's really violent), Jim Henson's Parasyte!!! I can't convey how wrong that is! I could probably go on, but I'd have to actually look at this first.
