Yes, that's right, a rant before 1 PM immediately following a rant two days ago. See? I can get them done! Let me begin today's rant with a piece of helpful advice. There seems to be a convention that whenever one talk to someone you don't know, either in an e-mail, IRC, IM, or speculating about people owning pages like this one, one pictures that person as a 20 year old male American college student. Now granted, 90% of the time, one is right. However, what a drab bleak image of the world that gives us. Therefore, I propose that instead, one should picture such strangers as female Japanese highschool students wearing those sailor suit uniforms, and obviously with the big eyes, shiny hair, and other anime stylings. I've been testing this out lately and it's been meeting with a lot of support. Go ahead, start now. I don't mind if you picture me as a Japanese schoolgirl. Besides, to gaze upon my true form would drive you mad. Fine, that's not true, I don't have a true form, I'm a bodiless entity. Look, that's all you get. Pick one! You'd be better off with the schoolgirl one because it's hard to picture something without a body or that will drive you crazy if you look at it. 8) Now then, getting around to today's title, in 2 weeks, and then again 2 more weeks later, there will be anime showing in US theaters. The first of those being Mononoke Hime, showing only in a few theaters (I'm planning to see it in Boston). If you want all the details, go look on www.nausicaa.net which has everything you want, even maps on how to get to the places. Try not to flood the Boston one yet though until I have my ticket please. The next is a Pokémon movie playing, well, everywhere, starting on November 12th. Even if you don't like it, go see it, I want anime in theaters and that's the first step. Prehaps even better than this, there's a rumor going around that the Cartoon Network is planning a spinoff channel showing nothing but anime and stuff like Transformers. Drooling yet? Good. and now... here it comes... by the way, I just thought of a solution for this frame problem... is very bad to fall in springs... last chance... here it is...
