The Colonel

Could someone please explain to me the connection between Colonel Sanders and anime? Seriously, I have seen references to Colonel Sanders in just about EVERY anime I can think of that can be called comedy. If that wasn't enough, Colonel Sanders seems to be the ONLY being on American televison that can correctly pronounce Pokémon! I mean the translators even went to the trouble to stick that little accent on there for you! Repeat after me "Poke aim on" now, slur it all together, there you go! Speaking of Colonel Sanders, it seems somehow appropriate that he has a lightsaber. Speaking of lightsabers, who here has seen Episode One already?

°¿° Mr. Babboon doesn't like episode one.

I still don't quite see why everyone's so crazy over it, I mean, let's face it, even without all the spoilers, everyone has known pretty much everything that would happen in that movie since, well, Return of the Jedi!

°¿° Mr. Babboon didn't like that computer generated comedy relief thing. It ruined the whole movie.

All in all I guess it was an OK movie, although really all it did was set things up for the next two.

°¿° BABBOON HEARTEO.......... EEEEEJECT!

*Whack!*

OK, glad Mr. Babboon finally resolved that (I know I could have made a really easy pun there, but I didn't. Be happy.) ANYWAY... speaking of monkeys, you know that wierd little thing called Nibbler on Futurama? Am I the only one who notices the connection between that and Niddler from Pirates of Dark Water? Fine, I guess I am.

Moving on yet again, isn't it odd how many domain names are taken by the wrong things? Here are some examples, feel free to click most of them: www.square.com, www.orc.com, www.orc.net, and of course www.zeld- oh wait, I just remembered what was wrong about that one, no way I'm posting that.

Speaking of links, I really should put a mailto here shouldn't I? I suppose that's a good way to end a rant.
