Voice Acting

Before I begin today, let me just mention some of the oddities that come with getting Fan Mail. First off, a full fifth of my Fan Mail has been classifiable as "crazy". Like the letter in defense of spam, and the one that implied that everyone on Scooby Doo was on drugs (nah, just Shaggy and arguably the dog). I also found out that appearently you can't read Slime World when you use AOL's browser or Microsoft's. Appearently for some reason they both blur out text in jpgs. Now, there's two ways to fix this problem. First, I could start saving them as gifs instead of jpgs, or second, you could all get Netscape. Let's go with number 2. 8) Actually I'm serious, I have some major, serious, and completely valid reasons for hating AOL and Microsoft, and I feel proud to be a reason to get Netscape. I'm pretty sure they're ad www.netscape.com, oh and yes, netscape IS free... or shareware, but who cares? The OTHER option would be if one of my fans with Netscape vollunteered to host an archive of Slime World converted into gifs, I suppose I WOULD put up a link to it. I'd prefer if you all got Netscape though. Now, on with (blurry for some of you) Slime World.

Now for the rant. Last night, I was on Ani-Pike looking for Evil Fodder (as in the basic components of Scary Pics) and a stumbled upon a rather interesting page. Voice Chasers, basically it's a big database of voice actors with lists of everything they've done. These links here go to the page for Peter Cullen.

Now you're probably asking yourself "Who the deuce is Peter Cullen, and why the smurf should I care?" Well, you COULD just click on that picture and find out, but you obviously haven't because you're asking yourself this. Anyway, the most important things he's done are the voices for Optimus Prime and Ironhide from Transformers, also some voices from Voltron including the narrator, and he even appearently did some voices for Gobots, which seems like a conflict of interests to me. Oh, and Blizzard had him signed up to narrate that graphic adventure they were going to make based on WarCraft. I really wish they didn't cancel that. Anyway, the reason I found that page if you care is I was looking for the name of the voice actor for Pidge from Voltron, you know, pretty much the scariest voice ever. Anyway, I think I'll add Peter Cullen to my list of voice actors, he's a talented guy (before you ask, I have a list of people with cool voices sitting around, just in case I'm ever in a possition to make a cartoon, there's no girls on it though, which kinda bugs me, maybe I'll post it later). Oh, and if anyone feels like looking around that link, try to find the name of the voice actor for The Brain, I've been looking for it for years.

I WOULD start the Scary Pic countdown now, but first I think I need an extra big warning today. You see, this one actually freaked ME out. My main tester screamed for like 5 MINUTES. On the other hand, I tested it on two other people who weren't bothered at all, but then they don't watch any anime.

and now...

here it comes...

a new low for me...

I am REALLY REALLY sorry about this one...

My SINCEREST appologies to the original artists...

especially Toriyama...

you know, the original was scary as is...

I was tempted to post it as it was...

the unfathomably evil...
