Zombies

Different people react differently when you stick them alone in a room with no human contact for a week or two. Some people turn into morlocks, some people clutch their wireframe monkeys, some people take advantage of the chance to read...

I get massive bursts of creativity. I've probably mentioned that before here. I also become somewhat unhinged though, so there's a nasty catch there.

Anyway though, Halloween has come and gone, and left me no stories to tell... there's a lot of games coming out this month, but as a general rule I don't talk about those here... hey, don't you all love how I'm throwing this thought stream at you while trying to come up with this weekend's rant?

I can probably fill a whole rant this way, but I believe I'm sworn to deliver quality for ya.

The real problem is my subconscious is currently bombarding me with the word zombie. See this happens whenever I'm waiting for something to come out long enough. Before WC3 hit the market, I managed to create a D&D corresponding to each race. Eerier still: While I was expecting to have a lot of fun with the dark elf druid, it turned out to totally suck and be killed off almost immediately.

So anyway, there's a new Resident Evil out soon, and my brain has been full of thoughts like these:

Zombada

Zombo

The Shamble

The Funky Shamble

I wish I had some advent zombies. You know, you just keep'em in a big pen somewhere and blow the head off one with a shotgun every day while counting down to something.

Zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie zombie I could go for some nachos.

Anyway, you get the idea. So between the zombies on the brain and being in one of those socialization deprivation productivity spurts, I dusted off this little reminder that I can't draw and cranked out a decent sized chunk of a first issue. In the process of doing so, I managed to go up a level too. Now instead of the limit of my abilities the drawing of a terrible picture over the course of 5 hours, it's drawing a terrible picture in something like half an hour. So theoretically, with more practice, I will eventually hit the point where I can draw non-dren at decent speeds, and actually work on this sucker until it's done. For that matter, since I am not honor bound to update other pages this month, I suppose it's possible, barring negative feedback, that I'll stick with this and have something to take pride in done by December with which to appease any potential required updatery.

Wow... I covered a lot of space with all that didn't I? Couple quick parting notes I suppose.

Adam Sandler, while capable of making movies that suck a whole lot less than you'd figure, is NOT A CARTOON CHARACTER. Robin Williams is. Ben Stein is. Adam Sandler is not. Things just work that way.

ADV is planning to launch a 24 hour anime channel. Let's all hope it's pure dren for a solid 8 hours somewhere, or that would be murder on sleep.
