Eye Candy

Looking back at how I had those horrifying pictures in my last two rants, and how much of a kick I got out of listening to my friends scream when they saw them, I decided I should make a habit of that. The only problem was, I didn't have any other scary pictures sitting around, so I put off this rant for a while. Then I suddenly rembered (pretty cool sounding typo!) this picture which I have for some strange reason. In my defense, I didn't draw this, I have no idea who did, in fact, I don't even know where I got it. That means there is a chance that somewhere down the line, some freak will come along and get really mad at me for posting it, not giving them credit, and saying it was scary. To lower the chances of this, let me go on record as saying that it really is a good picture, and does a masterful job of combining the two original artists styles. It's just that the subject matter freaks people out. Like last time, the scary picture is down at the bottom.

Since I don't really have anything to rant about, I'll just kill space with amusing pictures. Here's one by the great Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball and the artist for Chrono Trigger.

Speaking of Chrono Trigger, Square's finally making a sequel to it, so everyone can quit whining now. They didn't get Akira Toriyama again for it, but they DID get the guy who did the characters for the sequel to Secret of Mana (which we didn't get) and he also worked on Record of Lodoss War and Escaflowne. Woohoo!

Anyway, because I was reading a web page all about Akira Toriyama until 1 AM, and I remembered that Slimes are one of the few things I CAN draw (plus they're funny), AND the fact that this whole page is inspired by Sharkey's (which is down right now unfortunately), I made the following, whether I'll make it a regular feature depends on whether it still seems amusing to me after I get some sleep.

Before you ask, the Special Edition business is a joke, my ego is NOT that big, and I admit my drawings suck. It would help if my mouse wasn't in need of cleaning and I didn't have a kitten attacking y fingers, and I didn't accidentally erase it all and have to start over. If I do continue it though, I'll use more, and smaller frames... probably.

See why today's title is Eye Candy yet?

Here comes the freaky picture...

Last chance to turn back...

You've been warned...

BEHOLD THE HORROR THAT IS RANMA AS A SAILOR SCOUT!
