Some time ago, my grandmother, for reasons fully beyond me, gave me a boxed set of a horribly depraved anime series for Christmas. In the name of morbid curiosity, I watched it, and as I watched it, I typed a running commentary on just what I was looking at to point out to people just how crazy a thing this was to get from one's grandmother. Those who read these found them hilarious, and so here we are.
Every week I find a movie to get incredulous about. Sometimes it's an obscure low budget horror movie from the 80's, sometimes it's an action movie from the 00's with extreme ADD. If you're really lucky it's the sort of incredibly depraved ultra-violent weirdness you don't think ever REALLY comes from Japan but sometimes really does leap forth. I rent these movies, I watch them, and I record every thought I have. Then I take those, pop in some screens of the more memorable bits I can show in good taste, and dump them here, so you can vicariously experience what some crazy weirdo thought was OK to put on screen without actually watching these things.
