Get Back Pants In Our Hands

Ginji sighed happily, sinking down into the hot water of the large public bath next to Ban. No one else was in at the moment, so they had the place to themselves. "I'm glad we decided to treat ourselves, Ban-chan..."

Leaning his head back on the side of the bath, his eyes closed, Ban made a vague noise of agreement. He didn't feel like moving enough to speak - he was more relaxed than he'd been in ages. The only thing that bothered him at all at the moment was the knowledge that they could have taken a bath at home for free instead of going to the sento. But, he thought as he slowly slipped beneath the water's surface, that didn't bother him all that much, given how relaxed he was.

When he reemerged, water dripping from the ends of his hair, he found Ginji lying back against the side as well, and closed his eyes again. "We're going to have to go soon," he pointed out, albeit with reluctance. Ginji groaned faintly, but nodded, and Ban chuckled as he turned his head to look at his friend. They'd been in so long, Ginji was starting to look red.

After another long moment, he climbed out and took up his towel, and the splashing behind him said that Ginji was doing likewise, as Ban made his way back to the room where they'd left their clothes. Ban's weren't where he thought he'd left them, he discovered, and with a small frown, he started looking around the room. Maybe he'd left his clothes in that corner last time they'd come, and this time he'd put them...

His thoughts were cut off by a powerful bolt of electricity that made him yell. "What the hell was that for?" he snapped when he'd recovered, as he turned to find Ginji glaring at him.

"Where did you hide my clothes?"

"What?" Ban stared at him. "Why would I hide your clothes?"

Despite already being somewhat red from the hot bath, Ginji turned slightly redder, his glare growing more meaningful. "...Idiot," Ban muttered, smacking Ginji in the head with his towel.

Despite the minor assault, Ginji's glare turned to confusion. "You mean... you didn't put my clothes somewhere?"

Ban shook his head, his eyes narrowing. "Mine aren't where I thought I left them either..."

Growing suspicious, the two of them went over the room quickly but thoroughly, then turned back to look at each other.

"Nothing here," Ginji told Ban.

"Nope," Ban agreed grimly.

The two of them glanced back towards the baths, and then towards the front of the building. Ban pushed his glasses up his nose in his usual gesture of thoughtfulness, and was forcibly reminded that they weren't there when he poked himself in the eye.
