Harsh Realities

When Tsuzuki was a child, sometimes he played doctor. No one would play with him, but he had stuffed animals, and sometimes Ruka would join in. He should have grown out of make-believe sooner than he did, but it made him feel better. For just a little while, he could be someone safe, someone who the bear and rabbit would look up at with trust shining in their button eyes. Maybe someday he really could be a doctor, and help people instead of scaring them.

Nowadays, Tsuzuki avoids the memory. He hates Muraki all the more for perverting even that.
