"I'm Touda! I'll just go ahead and kill my master, because I don't care about anyone but myself!"

     The snarkiness made Rikugou wince. But he'd expected this much when he suggested the two of them do a little role-playing to sort out their differences.

     "And me, I'll ignore my master indiscriminately," Touda responded, sounding bored with the exercise. "I boss everyone around and don't know how to follow orders."

     "That's not true!" Suzaku shot back. "I deliberately disobeyed Tsuzuki - because I love him!"

     "...Which is why I obeyed." Their eyes met, and froze.

     Rikugou smiled. Being the mediator was rewarding.
