    In the present, Ban has freaky hair. In flashbacks of the time before and just after he met Ginji, Ban is shown with his hair down. What happened to make him adopt the "j-rock porcupine" look? Here's a little fic taking place shortly after Ban met Ginji which attempts to answer that question...

    As seen in a flashback, Ban apparently actually needs the glasses. ...All right, so he doesn't really need them so often, because he can always see what's most important.

    Every year on Halloween, Ban slips away by himself, to observe a personal ritual.

Talent
    An interlude during episode 8 - Ginji's influence causes Ban's unexpected talent to reach new levels. Shounen-ai warning - lime-ish towards the end.

Give and Take
    This one can be blamed on Ka, for selling me on the idea that Ban and Ginji may not have a bed at their place, and instead take turns sleeping on the couch. Just a short little scene taking place immediately after the MakubeX arc.

The 14 Karat Question
    Ban, Ginji, a few drinks, a box of jewelry, and a secondhand shop. Obviously, they won't make it out of the shop without something going wrong. Set immediately after the hot springs episode.

Jokers Wild [2] [3]
    Inside the Infinite Castle, Emishi considered Shido to be like a wild beast himself - and Shido's new life with Madoka therefore comes as quite a disturbing shock. Takes place between the MakubeX and Venus de Milo stories, and now complete.

Birthday Surprise
    It's Ginji's birthday, and he's snooping for presents when a knock comes on the door...

Touch
    For someone independant and unfriendly, like Ban used to be, it was initially a struggle to accept some of the things Ginji offered him. (Shockingly, only as slashy as the canon.)

    A little thousand-word drabble inspired by the cover to manga volume 13, which is possibly the cutest pic ever.

Sleepless Night
    Another thousand-word drabble inspired by manga covers, this time volume 20. Ginji's pajamas are awesome, but do have the potential to be very annoying... Very shounen-ai warning here.

    Drabble requests were made to both myself and Kitarin to write Ban and Ginji at a festival... and since she covered the mushy angle, of course I covered the comic aspects.

    No, that's not a typo. Ban and Ginji go out into the country to watch a meteor shower, and Ginji has a special wish to make on the first falling star he sees. Co-written with Kitarin.

    The journey of a reluctant god as he becomes a man is made easier by a companion who has taken the same path. Major spoilers for the last arc of the anime up until episode 49, set in anime continuity because one of the two characters is still completely a mystery in the manga. On top of all that, implied slash.

    One fallen King reflects on another, and how a flawed object can surpass even perfection. Great big spoilers for the last arc of the anime, and a bit of dialogue lifted directly from episode 48.

Life Is Life
    Emishi talks friendship and spirituality with a cute doggie. Inspired by a cute splash page in the manga, and contains huge spoilers (character deaths) for the end of the "Get Back the Eternal Bond" story.
