Avendasora/Ellcrys

Name: Many aliases, real name unknown
Species: Dryad
Gender: Female
Origin: Museworld
Age: Unknown
Birthday: May 15th
Elemental Affinity: ????
Alignment: Neutral Good
Appearance:
Human - 5'2", Caucasian, thin, brown eyes, glasses. Utterly ordinary, except perhaps for the waist-length auburn hair. Despite the small, frail appearance and normally laid-back temperment, somehow has an aura that many people find intimidating.
Dryad - A tree with pale bark, whose leaves change color according to the seasons - and sometimes just according to a whim. Under normal circumstances, the leaves are a deep maroon/red.
Favorite Outfit: Generally wears rather casual clothing, along the lines of jeans and t-shirts with a flannel over the top in cold weather. She does favor a particular pair of very oversized vibrant aquamarine corduroy bellbottoms, however, and a pair of old sneakers - one with black laces, the other with white. Her tops are usually dark in color, and usually she is found wearing one of two rings - one with an engraved fairy touching a crystal star, the other with a more normal amethyst - and at least one of her various pendants.

Personality: Eccentric, but not necessarily in a careless way. She doesn't appear to take things too seriously most of the time, but those who have seen her in serious situations know that despite the almost absent-minded mannerisms, she is always thinking and watching. (It's just that what she's thinking about is often not what other people are talking about!) One trait that remains a constant is her curiosity. Another is her obsessive fascination with certain things... such as rabbits or oddishes.

History:
Though not known to many inside the Pokéboard, "Ellcrys" first appeared in another city of the Board Alliance, before the founding of the Pokéboard, taking the name of a magical tree which guarded against evil. This city had various supreme entities warring frequently. It was there that she was revealed as a dryad, and became romantically linked to one of the supreme entities who was considered to be the force of Order for that city. By the time the relationship ended, Ellcrys had become one of the guardians for that realm - but she had become disillusioned, and began to wander the Board Alliance for distraction, often using other names and/or forms.

It was during this time that she revealed an unusually strong power level for a dryad, and was trained by Robert Silvers, who allowed to join the elite group he belonged to - the Horsemen of the Next Dimension. As the population of the Board Alliance grew stronger, the members of this group drifted away, and Ellcrys wound up at the Pokéboard. When serving in the second Borg War, with her former Horseman ally Robert Silvers, she was killed, but later brought back by the Dragonballs. After such a drastic encounter, she began to drift away from socializing in the Board Alliance for some time.

During this time, Ellcrys' whereabouts were not widely known, but she was in fact living in what is commonly referred to as the "little wooden shack" (or LWS) in her own node, a nexus called Museworld, which contains many natural and man-made gates to various other nodes, including Boardspace (which allows the residents and the boarders rather easy access back and forth). Although the residents are not entirely aware, Museworld is governed by a dual pair of deities - one who reigns over Logic and Order, and another who reigns over Emotion and Chaos. Neither of them go out of their way to make use of their power over the world, or to reveal their identities, and often make use of the more powerful characters as avatars to clear things up if the residents can't solve their problems on their own.

In fact, the priestess Müllenkamp who had been appearing during this time at the Pokéboard was simply acting as an avatar for the deity of Logic and Order (as unlikely a choice as she might be), who was revealed to be the former dryad. After this revelation, Ellcrys returned to Boardspace under the name "Avendasora" - the tree of life. She generally shows up just for entertainment purposes; after all, she has enough trouble dealing with the trials of her own node.

Weapons:
Though she has a black steel shortsword whose name is yet unknown, she's never been seen using it in battle.

Equipment:
Fairy/star crystal ring - A key that will unlock any gate in Museworld. (Washuu has made a replica of this ring for residents' use, supposedly behind Avendasora's back, but the replica is subject to the original and works only when she allows it to.)
The Horizon - A boat built by several residents of the little wooden shack and Pinwhelia Castle, now belonging to Viktor (under Avendasora's jurisdiction) and Flik, though others use it from time to time, and have proved that it can handle internodal travel.

Abilities:
Chi Blast
A powerful blast of spirit energy. This was a technique taught to her by Robert Silvers, when he trained her to become a Horseman.
Magic
She has picked up a few spells from one of Museworld's most notable residents, Sydney Losstarot, though exactly which ones are not known. She has been known to use a few status-effecting spells, as well as utility spells like "Unlock" or "Fixate".
Navigation (or lack thereof)
In a natural environment with many plants, such as forest or plains, she can find her way to a specific place or person easily - it's rumored that she can hear the memories of trees and other plants. However, drop her into an urban environment, and she'll get lost on a simple walk down the block unless she has directions written down.
Transformation
No one has actually seen her transform directly, but she has been known to take on the appearance of a tree (see above). It may be that she can take on other shapes as well...
In Museworld -
Omnipotent, really, unless the other deity disagrees with something she chooses to do, or she is inside the bounds of Pinwhelia Castle, where the other deity reigns supreme.

Fighting Demeanor and Style:
Although in her former persona as Ellcrys, she was seen to attack an enemy with energy blasts, nowadays she's not seen in battle. Instead, she will remain near the fight, giving those she favors advice or subtle assistance. Her own part is ordinarily something along the lines of sneaking into the enemy's headquarters and causing havoc in some way - it's more interesting than straight fighting, and much more entertaining to watch. If things get serious, however, she will gladly smite an enemy with an energy blast or some kind of magic.

Allies, Rivals, and Enemies:
Sydney Losstarot - The immortal leader of the Müllenkamp cult, and the most powerful resident of the LWS. Although he can fight with a sword, he tends to rely on the power of the Dark.
John Hardin - Another prominent figure in the cult, and Sydney's lover. Through magical means, the two of them managed to acquire a son, Seth, with the help of a Pinwhelia resident. They also care for Joshua Bardorba, who they kidnapped just before their arrival in Museworld.
Ban Mido - A retrieval agent and recent arrival to the LWS; cocky and somewhat perverse, and possessed of strange supernatural powers.
James - Member of Team Rocket, though these days dedicated more to frightening fashion creations than stealing Pokémon.
Laguna Loire - The President of Esthar in the FF node, he spends some of his time off in the LWS.
Kain Highwind - A dragoon who has been romantically linked to Fujin. The earliest resident of the LWS who still remains.
Viktor - A rather rowdy mercenary who has possession of a talking sword. He's great fun at parties. Currently questing in his home node. Gremio - A housekeeper devoted to his Young Master, who rather enjoys cooking for the residents of the LWS. Currently questing in his own node.
Washuu and Müllenkamp - Two of Avendasora's favorite avatars, who she uses to subtly nudge events more towards her liking, by giving them ideas of how they might use their considerable powers to settle things. Washuu utilizes her intelligence and technological skills to solve problems, while Müllenkamp handles them with her magic.
Kitarin - The deity of Emotion and Chaos who shares her rule over Museworld, and does not venture into Boardspace anymore.
The Horsemen - Formerly her comrades in the protection of the PSX board. Though they have scattered, she still sees them from time to time.
The Boarders - Largely allies.
