Part 43: Truth or Dare (R)

"So..." Sydney smiled secretively, looking around the crowd assembled in the room in Pinwhelia Castle. "Is this a game of truth or dare? Or just truth...?"

"I LOVE TRUTH AND DARE!" Astala exclaimed enthusiastically.

Sydney nodded. "I always choose Truth, personally."

From the kitchen, where he'd retreated when the casual conversation had grown a bit personal a short time ago, Hardin snorted in disbelief as he scryed the other room. Right.

"Dares are more fun." Sage winked at Sydney.

"I don't think the dares could be any more shocking than the truth, in my case," Sydney replied, smiling with eerie innocence again, steadfastly trying to pretend that he did not object to the woman's presence at all. Sage pondered his words thoughtfully.

Selphie clapped her hands together in glee. "So who's first?"

Sage pointed to Syl and grinned. "Hell no, I am not going first," Syl retorted.

"Hey Haaaardin! Marriiiie!! gonna play?" Astala called.

"I WANNA PLAY!" Chu-Chu squealed, to absolutely no one's surprise.

"Uhm..." From the kitchen, Hardin's slight, self-conscious cough was heard. "...No..."

"Then no fair listening in, John," Sydney smirked.

"PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?" Astala begged him loudly. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!"

"Good lord man, do it!" Sage exclaimed. "That's killing my ears!"

"...Ow," Hardin muttered, clutching his head as he reluctantly rejoined the others. "I... I guess so..." Turning back, he glanced at Marie. "And what about you..?"

Marie nodded. "Sydney, it was your idea, so you can ask someone first."

"YAY!" Selphie cheered.

Quistis smirked, privately wishing she was in on this on too, and knowing what she must be thinking, Syl sauntered over and looped an arm around her. "Who said you couldn't play?"

Quistis grinned at her. "Thank you, dear."

Sydney was still thinking. "...I never know what to ask anyone in these things," he admitted. "I already know the answers, after all."

"Hmm...true..." Marie mused.

"Take all the fun out of it why don't you," Sage muttered.

"So ask something purposefully revealing for OUR benefit," Astala suggested with a grin.

Sydney looked down at the floor, almost appearing self-conscious for once. "...I'm afraid that would not be a good idea..."

"Goodnight, everyone," Kelvena said, breaking the silence and waving as she headed off to bed.

James waved back, then realized Kelvena couldn't see it with her eyes closed. "Hee... uh, night!"

"Awww Kelly," Selphie called after her. "Sure ya don't want to stay?"

Kelvena stopped by the stairs. "...You'd want me here?"

Selphie ran over and hugged her, and Kelvena smiled. "What a nice surprise ... I didn't think anyone cared..."

"Forget it," Astala announced, growing impatient for the game to start. "I'm gonna ask Sydney!!!!!"

"Oh dear..." Marie murmured.

Astala responded with an impish grin, then turned to Sydney. "Tell us about the most kinky sex you're ever had and WHO with!!!!!"

"...Me?" Sydney raised an eyebrow, then sat back in his chair. "Hmmm... that would perhaps be a tough question..."

Astala leaned forward eagerly as Sydney thought for a moment. "Actually, the 'who with' wouldn't be so tough..."

Hardin coughed again. "...You could take dare."

"Worried, Hardin...?" Syl asked.

"Very."

"Come on, Sydney, tell us!!!" Astala said excitedly.

Finally Sydney smiled. "Does a kinky place count, or do you mean the kinkiest method?"

Astala looked around for everyone else's suggestions, and Sage spoke up. "Method!"

"Hmm. I personally thought the place was kinkier..." Sydney mused, "but either way." Selphie giggled.

"I vote for place, really," Astala told him.

"Place!" Syl agreed.

"But... hmm...." Marie hummed, undecided.

"Well wouldn't the place be PART of the method?" Sage pointed out.

"Either way," Sydney began, "the 'who with' should perhaps be obvious by now, considering the way John's blushing."

Astala clapped her hands gleefully, and Sage winked at Hardin, whose face was indeed a shade redder than usual. "...So even if I didn't play I'd be humiliated," he muttered. "Lovely."

"Yeah, but now you have a chance for revenge," Syl pointed out.

"Anyhow..." Sydney said, starting the story in earnest, "there was this time John and I were visiting the duke's manor. I decided to show him around the place... including this particular building that had not been used for at least twenty years... The duchess did not approve of the Kildean faith, and so she ordered the old family chapel closed. John and I decided to pay it a visit..."

"omg!" Selphie giggled into Zell's shoulder as Syl smirked, and Marie laughed quietly.

"Seeing as the servants were as devout as their mistress," Sydney went on, "we hadn't had a chance to be alone with each other since our arrival... and this was the one place none of them would ever dare to enter... so..."

"Woobaby!" Chu-Chu crowed as the rest of the room chuckled and snickered, except for Hardin, who simply cringed.

"I had him lie down upon the old stone altar at the center... and I took him there. After all, our gods don't find the act as dirty as theirs."

"Not that that altar that hadn't been used for twenty years wasn't dirty," Hardin grumbled.

Sage smirked. "Depends on your definition of dirty."

Syl looked almost wistful. "Under the eyes of Gods... brings back memories..."

Sydney grinned, amused at their reaction and Hardin's discomfort. "You could say we offered a little blood sacrifice." Selphie gave him a shocked look, and he decided that was enough. "Anyhow... I suppose that's it. Next...?"

"Well, you're supposed to ask someone but..." Astala told him, "I guess someone can take your turn..."

"I'd just as well pass," Sydney agreed with a smile. "I tend to play for the purpose of shocking."

Sage winked. "Shocking is my area of expertise."

Still lost in embarrassment, Hardin dropped his head into his hands. I knew this was going to happen.

"ME! ME!" Chu-Chu squealed.

"Go right ahead," Sydney told her.

"OK!" Astala cheered.

"Who here thinks I am DEAD SEXY???????"

"You have to ask, babe?" Franz grinned at Chu-Chu.

Selphie gave her a look. "Chu-Chu, you have to ask one person."

"...Oh." Chu-Chu frowned.

"...Though I think you'd be sexier alive..." Franz continued thoughtfully, "but I dunno, never tried the other way."

"Ewww, necrophilia!" Chu-Chu exclaimed, then turned her attention to thinking up a new question.

"You have to pick a person," Selphie reminded her.

Hardin had looked up in surprise at her exclamation. "...Something that even makes Chu-Chu say 'ewww'?"

His muttering caught Chu-Chu's attention. "HARDIN!!!"

Hardin froze under her intrigued stare. "What?"

"I chu-chu-choose chu!"

"...Oh gods," he groaned as Astala cheered.

"Do chu think I am DEAD SEXY????????"

Sage and Selphie both fell over laughing as Hardin stared at her. "Uhmm... I'm sorry," he said, trying to at the least not sound rude, "but... I don't exactly have a thing for... uhm, pink fur..." Chu-Chu sniffled a little, and he felt bad. "Sorry... You're quite cute, though," he told her.

"You gotta see her sexy human form," Astala whispered to Sage. "Yummmmm."

"You can't be serious..." Sage whispered back doubtfully.

"omg, I am SO serious."

Sage stared. "Pictures?"

"Later, I promise... Got some good nude ones of me an her and Franz!"

"I'm holding you to that," Sage told her.

"What do I get in return?" Astala asked with a wink.

Sage winked back. "Be creative."

"Your turn, Hardin," Selphie reminded him.

"So it is... uh... hmmm..." Hardin glanced around, then at the floor, wondering if he should ask what he really was wondering, or something less potentially awful.

"Oh, don't hold back..." Quistis told him upon seeing the hesitant look on his face.

"Come on, John, play the game," Marie encouraged him with a grin.

Syl looked at Marie and Quistis in surprise. "...Always the quiet ones..."

"Then she should go next!" Franz spoke up, pointing to Kelvena.

"Oh dear, I'm playing too?" Kelvena smiled, actually happy to be included.

"Oooh! Ooh!" Selphie burst out. "Let's drag Yuffie out and make her play too!"

Franz smiled mischievously. "Mmm, dragging Yuffie out... of her clothes."

"Strip truth or dare?" Sage asked, surprised. "I vote yes."

"Yuffie is sexy in a cute kind of way," Astala agreed with Franz.

Suddenly Cait Sith popped out of nowhere. "Yuffie is sexy in a fugly kind of way," he said cheerfully before disappearing again.

Another large shape popped in from the kitchen. "Quina play too!?!?"

"...It's just that the question I was thinking of asking is not so much embarrassing as perhaps... bringing back bad memories..." Hardin told them all.

"Do you want to forfeit your turn, Hardin?" Selphie asked.

"No," he replied. "But if Syl doesn't want to answer, I won't ask her to..."

Syl raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"Ya gonna ask or forfeit, Hardin?" Selphie asked him again.

Finally he decided he might as well try it. "Syl... uhm, the other night..." Again, he paused and cleared his throat self-consciously. "You said I reminded you of someone from long ago... I was curious to know who this mysterious person was? It seemed a dark secret from your past, and as that does seem to be the point of this game..." Seeing as she'd said nothing yet, he added with a sigh, "But if it's too personal, that's all right."

"Oh hmm...I...." Syl actually blushed. "Someone I was close to a long time ago. Long before my life went so sour."

The others quieted to listen as she spoke. "We had this intense and passionate friendship, mostly through letters because of how I left school... and the whole thing... well... I was very close to the Gods then, after I left school and before I really became part of the jazz singing... it's... a long story."

"I thought so," Hardin said with a nod. "It's all right."

"But," Syl added, "the whole thing culminated with the most amazing sex of my life...inside the cathedral's belltower. We used to meet there, late at night, to talk." She blushed again. "Have I said enough?"

"If you've said all you wanted to say," Hardin agreed. "Thank you."

"Hmmph," Sydney murmured, amused. "And so even John's innocent question turns to amazing sexual encounters."

"Your gentle yet passionate nature..." Syl continued, glancing at Hardin, "that's what reminds me of him." She shrugged. "Does this mean it's my turn?"

"Those appear to be the rules."

"Heh... Sage..." she chuckled, looking at her new friend. "Truth or dare."

Sage grinned wickedly. "Truth."

James stared around the room in shock. "There are dares?"

"Hmm..." Syl thought long and hard. "You mentioned your first time before. Tell us about it!" Quistis's ears perked up, and Syl added with an evil grin, "I should make you tell us WHY it was so damn significant."

Sage rolled her eyes. "I was thirteen... it was while I was in school..." She paused as the second comment registered. "Too late."

Sydney watched the two of them curiously, his gaze turning thoughtful as it lingered on Sage. This is odd, playing with someone who tried to... hmm. He shrugged, deciding not to worry about it for the time being.

"C'mon, tell us!" Syl urged Sage. "All of it!

"Yes, Syl, don't let her get off easy," Quistis grinned.

"I got off easy!" Chu-Chu exclaimed.

"I was walking..." Sage paused again, interrupted by Chu-Chu's statement. "Um... Chu-Chu, I wouldn't go around telling everybody that..."

"Don't even bother trying, Sage; she'll never change," Quistis told her with a wink.

"And thank goodness," Franz chimed in.

"I was walking down the hall from my room," Sage continued, "and there was this really cute older student coming towards me... he was skipping or something... When he finally got to me he swept me up in this INCREDIBLE kiss... and it was..." She paused, blushing. "...amazing... it just got deeper and deeper and we finally just stumbled into the nearest room... ripping each other's clothes off... I never saw him after that... I never got his name and I hadn't seen him before then."

"...Hmm, someone even sluttier than I am." Sydney smirked.

Sage grinned. "I do try."

Syl leaned forward towards Sage. "And years later..."

Sage was the picture of innocence. "Years later?"

Selphie looked extremely curious as well, and Syl pouted. "You're NO fun."

"Hey that's not what you asked," Sage told her, smirking. "You asked for my first time not what made it kinky."

Syl pouted more, and Astala made her opinion known with a loud "Booooo!"

"What?" Sage grinned wickedly. "She can use her next turn to ask... or somebody else can. My turn then?"

Still wondering, Selphie absently said "Yep."

Sage thought for a moment. "Hmmm... Hardin!"

Hardin looked up once more in shock. "Again?"

"You blush the most."

Syl smirked as Hardin sighed - and yes, again blushed. Zell was also blushing from his place next to Selphie where he'd remained silent, but he was secretly enjoying this.

Sage grinned. "Okay then... since we're on the theme. What's the most embarassing thing that's ever happened to you?" she asked Hardin. "That should be good for a few blushes."

"Probably that answer Sydney gave to the first question," Hardin grumbled, then hesitated. "Well, maybe."

"Maybe?"

"Ooooh, tell us!" Selphie grinned.

"The other thing I just thought of wasn't so much embarrassing," Hardin muttered, "as... it carried a great deal of potential for embarrassment."

"Well that sounds potentially interesting," Sage said, winking at him. Sydney started snickering, knowing what Hardin was referring to, and Marie giggled a little.

"But since we weren't really found out," Hardin added, almost desperately, "I guess it wasn't embarrassing, right?"

"How about we be the judge of that." Sage glanced around for support.

"I wanna know!!" Astala agreed.

Quistis chuckled. "Is this what I think it is...?"

"No..." Hardin's blush grew deeper. "That was wrong, but not exactly embarrassing."

"He always this amusing?" Sage whispered to Syl.

"Oh, hell yeah... a couple others are too. Try Quistis, Laguna, Kelly, Zell, Marie, Selphie...they also blush a lot."

Sage grinned. "I'll have to remember that for my next question."

Hardin let out a resigned sigh. "Well, it was a long time ago... I suppose there's no point in keeping it quiet now..."

"No. None!" Lani spoke up eagerly, for the first time that evening.

"There was this celebration of the winter solstice, as the brethren of Mullenkamp celebrate every year," Hardin began reluctantly. "A great deal of dancing, and a great deal of drinking, for some people..." He looked pointedly at Sydney, who just smiled. "First of all," Hardin decided, "I think I'll embarrass him a little too - Sydney can't hold his liquor at all. And when he gets drunk, which he does very easily, he gets uhm... frisky."

Sage's eyes grew wide. "Definitely have to remember that," she said with a downright evil grin. Syl winked at her and Quistis, and Sage laughed as Quistis smiled and winked back.

"So... the two of us were at a table in the corner, drinking," Hardin continued. "I wasn't too bad off yet, but after a few glasses of wine, Sydney was laughing like a madman already. And after a couple more, he sort of... slid under the table. To this day, I don't know if he was actually that drunk, or if he did it on purpose." He hesitated, wondering why he'd even started telling this story. "Because once he got down there, he decided he liked it... and since he was pretty well hidden, he decided to..." His voice trailed off as he stopped and cringed. "There is no polite way to put this," he muttered self-consciously.

Fortunately, perhaps, Astala spared him from having to say it. "DUDE DID HE SUCK YOU???!!!"

"Uhm..." Hardin was torn between relief and embarrassment. "Yes. In the middle of the celebration... with people sitting and talking and laughing and drinking around us."

"Damn," Syl muttered in appreciation as Sage's eyes grew wider still.

"Oooo... kinky...." Selphie put in.

"I couldn't do a thing without drawing attention to myself," Hardin grumbled. "So I had to sit there and... pretend everything was normal."

"Oh dear," Quistis chuckled.

Sage grinned. "Now THAT sounds fun."

"Sydney is SO COOL!" agreed Astala excitedly.

"The worst part, by far, was when Kirrienne came over to say hello..." Hardin continued as even Marie laughed. "She thought I was sick from drinking too much, from the look on my face... She almost tried to get me to get up and come back to the sleeping quarters to lie down, but finally I convinced her I was all right." He sighed heavily. "Anyways..."

Selphie clapped her hands amidst Quistis's laughter. "Hardin's turn!"

Just glad it was done with, Hardin looked around the room. "Well, as Franz pointed out earlier, if it's always the quiet ones, I think Kelvena needs to be involved... If that's all right with you, I mean..." he added, as he regarded the usually silent girl with understanding.

Kelvena nodded, waiting quietly. "Ask her!!" Selphie urged him.

"Quiet ones can be fun too..." Sage murmured.

"All right..." Hardin chuckled softly. "I'll be gentle, though. ...Who would you want to sleep with, more than anyone?"

"Other than me," Franz spoke up.

Kelvena flushed. "I... um..."

Seeing her face color, Sage winked at Syl. "You were right."

In response to Franz's comment, Chu-Chu raised her hand and waved it eagerly. "Or Chu-Chu," he added with a grin. "EVERYONE wants us."

"Um..." Kelvena began finally, "does this have to be someone I've never... slept with?"

"Not necessarily, no," Hardin told her.

Lowering her head, Kelvena looked away, still thinking. An answer sprung to mind, but she wasn't sure if it was the one she wanted.

Seeing her hesitation, Selphie looked thoughtful. "Hmm..."

"It's okay, Kelvena..." Quistis told her.

"You don't have to say if you don't want to," Celeste added.

Hardin nodded. "It's only a game, you don't have to."

"Really, it's ok..." Marie added.

Amidst their reassurances, Kelvena finally whispered her answer. "...Dominia."

Hardin chuckled, glad he apparently hadn't embarrassed her too badly. "Don't know this person... but that's fine."

Selphie nodded thoughtfully, while Astala cheered. "Woobaby! Kelvena has hentai vibes too!!"

"I..." Kelvena paused. "It's my turn to ask a question now?"

"Yup," Sage said cheerfully as Selphie giggled.

Kelvena spent some time thinking, then... "Franz?"

"Yes'm?" Franz replied eagerly.

"Uh oh," Selphie said, fearing the worst.

"What's your favorite sound that you've recorded?" Kelvena asked.

"Hmmm, that's a tough one... so many to choose from..."

Sage raised her hand, grinning, and Arie smacked her hand down. "No, you can NOT make a request." Syl chuckled.

Sage just glared at Arie. "That would fulfill my request."

"Perhaps that little scream/moan thing that Chu-Chu does," Franz said finally. "I could play that over and over... listen to it all night. Without turning on my machine," he added with a sly grin. "Unless you mean the LOVE MACHINE. Whose code name is ME."

"Yeah Franz, that IS a great sound..." Astala agreed.

"Woobaby," Chu-Chu put in as Quistis chuckled.

"So, my turn now?" Franz looked around. "Who hasn't gone yet... Ah, Marie!" She cringed. "Would you ever let me record you and this Marc fellow?" he asked innocently.

Sage giggled. "Oh! Good one, Franz."

Marie was completely taken off-guard. "Oh my, umm uh I..."

"You don't have to say yes," Franz assured her kindly. "...I can pick locks," he added in a quiet murmur, and Sage burst out laughing.

"As long as he didn't mind....I guess so..." Marie clenched her eyes shut and gulped. "He can be... umm... less shy than I am, really."

"Oh, good!" Franz exclaimed happily. "My collection keeps growing and growing... just like... hmmm, anyhow," he finished.

"Hahaha Franz!!" Astala giggled as Chu-Chu winked.

"My turn, eh...?" Marie smirked. "Who else hasn't gone..."

Selphie pointed at Zell, giggling, but Marie was already looking elsewhere. "Quistis! Tell us, out of everyone in this room, what five people you'd most like to sleep with!"

Quistis laughed in surprise. "Oh dear, let's see... Syl, of course... NOT Quina..." she said emphatically.

"Pick me! Pick me!" Chu-Chu urged her.

"Not you either, Chu-Chu." Chu-Chu frowned.

Glancing distractedly up in the direction of Flik's room, Hardin smirked slightly, wishing Viktor were here so he could be embarrassed half to death too. Astala caught the glance and giggled. "I bet Vik and Flik are fucking on the roof again."

Hardin stared at her. "...'Again'...?"

"Vik and Flik are on the roof?" Sage asked, grinning wickedly.

Syl nodded. "Probably."

"Perhaps," Sydney agreed, smiling a little, "but I'm not so sure they're up to anything like that..." He'd picked up on plenty of what was happening between the two of them in the last few days, after all.

"Conveniently beneath the sky, don't you think?" Sage asked, eyeing Syl, who grinned wickedly and laughed. "Lightning storm anyone?" Sage whispered to her.

"Flik's nickname IS Blue Lightning, Sage dear..." Syl pointed out.

"Pssst Franz..." Astala hissed. "You should record THEM... Flik moans really loudly."

"Yes, I've heard him." Franz grinned. "And Viktor growls... just like a bear!" he finished cheerfully, pulling out tape #1758 in his collection.

"Um..." Quistis took a deep breath, finally having reached her decision. "Hardin, Sydney, Selphie, and Zell."

Selphie stared at her in shock, Zell hid his face, and Hardin raised an eyebrow. Sydney, however, just looked thoughtful. "Hmm... All at once, or seperately?"

Syl laughed. "My thoughts exactly."

Sage chuckled. "I think we should make her say them a little more slowly..." she suggested.

"Certainly," Quistis agreed. "Syl. Hardin. Sydney. Selphie. Zell."

"Hee hee, Quisty..." Selphie giggled as Zell's face grew redder.

"Great!" Sage told Quistis. "Now deepen your voice a little and add some breathyness..." Astala laughed out loud.

Quistis ignored her. "Mmm, my turn?"

"Yeah, last question for tonight," Selphie said with a yawn.

Looking around, Quistis tried to think of who hadn't answered yet, and reached a conclusion. "So, Selphie..."

"Uh oh," Selphie grinned.

"You've got quite an imagination... what question would you have liked me to ask you?" Quistis finished with a smirk.

"Ack! How am I supposed to answer that???" Selphie moaned.

"Mmmm. Masterful, Quistis," Sydney murmured, smiling appreciatively.

"Why, thank you, Sydney."

"How kinky do you guys want this to get?" Selphie asked, glancing over at Zell. Zell blushed and said nothing, but waited eagerly to hear her response.

"How kinky do you want it to get I believe was the question," Sage responded slyly.

"Do I have to answer my own question too?" Selphie wondered suddenly.

"We certainly wouldn't complain if you did, dear," Quistis told her.

"Hmm, doesn't quite work that way," Sydney pointed out. "A bit of a loophole..."

"What, Sydney!" Astala protested. "I want her to answer!!"

Selphie gave them a sheepish giggle. "You should have asked me either about the best place I ever had sex... or how many people in this room I've fantasized about." Smirking playfully, she clasped her hands in front of her face.

"Tell us, Selphie!" Chu-Chu whined.

"...Which one?" Selphie looked around at them and giggled helplessly. "Are you all going to vote?"

"Both," Sage suggested.

"Mmm, can we hear the latter?" Quistis requested. "If you have to choose, of course."

"Well, I suppose that would be fair since Quistis had to say..." Sage agreed, and Quistis nodded.

"The second one? Hmm... heehee..." Selphie thought for a moment. "Does this include dreams? Or daydreams? Or stories? Or anything?"

"Hmm, a number isn't so scandalous," Sydney murmured thoughtfully. "A better question would be..." He paused, giving them a wry smile that was more aimed at himself than anyone else. "Maybe I shouldn't be so technical."

"You can get technical with me any time you like, Sydney," Sage told him with a wink.

"Hmmph. I'd imagine so, after our last meeting," he muttered in a less than friendly tone.

Selphie was still thinking. "You want to know exactly who...?"

"ME!!!!!!!!!!" Chu-Chu yelled. "Right?"

"Of course, Chu-Chu," Franz assured her.

"Umm... heh. Well, Zell the most of course..." Selphie began. "And yeah, Chu-Chu once I found out she had a human form..."

"Awwwwww yeah!" Chu-Chu cheered.

Zell smiled and blushed. "I'm honored, love."

"...and umm... Quisty..." Selphie continued, seeing her friend's smirk, "and umm.... heh... Flik - sssh don't tell him!! - ...and umm... heh, Sage... cause she's so... different. And umm... Syl one time when I overheard her in her room umm... er... nevermind... and..." Sage stared at her.

"...and... Sydney... well, Sydney and Hardin at the same time, really..." Hardin had begun laughing at the first part, then suddenly choked, and Sage burst out laughing at him.

"...and oh oh! Sir Laguna!"

Laguna, who had remained quiet to avoid notice throughout the entire game, looked up nervously. "...Uhh... okay..."

"...and umm..."

"Maybe a better question would have been who you HADN'T fantasized about..." Sage muttered dryly, and Selphie giggled. James looked around the crowded room, somewhat dazed.

"Yes, this is getting to be quite a comprehensive list," Quistis said with a chuckle.

"Actually, when I really think about it..." Selphie said, more thoughtfully, "not Joshua or James or Kain ...or Milo and Leilani," she added quickly with a grimace, "and not Marie or Kelly... just about everyone else though, some more than others." Selphie blushed terribly.

"...Josh isn't here, I made sure of that," Hardin muttered. After the last party, he'd become very aware that this was not the sort of environment that a four year old should be exposed to.

"What about FRANZ?" Chu-Chu asked. "Can we have a threesome?"

Selphie giggled. "As long as Zell doesn't mind..."

"Yay! I'm in!" Franz cheered. "...Literally!"

"I WANT to see those pictures..." Sage whispered, leaning over to Astala.

Selphie glanced at Zell, hoping he wasn't mad at her, but he just grinned. "Not in the least, love."

"Hmm..." Sydney observed, "Zell seems to have his kinks too..."

"There are plenty of kinks to go around..." Sage pointed out.

"Oh yeah," Selphie agreed, "one time, in my room, he took down the Chr..." She broke off the sentence suddenly. "Oh wait... I shouldn't tell you that.

"...It's okay," Zell told her.

Sydney smiled at Zell. "You and Hardin would be quite the pair."

"Hardin and Zell," Selphie murmured dreamily. "Mmmm... hee hee hee..."

"...Sydney!" Hardin exclaimed.

James's eyes grew wider yet, and Sage winked at him, prompting a loud laugh from Syl. "You're gonna scare him, Sage." She was proved right, as James abruptly yeeped and dove into a corner.

Sage giggled. "Oops."

"I can't help it..." Selphie explained happily. "I just love everybody so much."

"Me too," Franz chimed in. "Me love everybody long time."

"But we didn't have any dares tonight..." Selphie thought aloud.

"Maybe tomorrow?" Quistis suggested with a wink.

"Hell yes," Syl told her.

"I'm in," Sage agreed.

Sydney shrugged, as the players began to rise to leave. "I've always preferred truths anyway... and I must admit I've learned a few things after all," he commented, then turned to eye Sage with a look that was halfway between curious and suspicious. "...I still can't read you."

"Sage grinned brilliantly at Sydney. "It's killing you, isn't it dear?"

"Hmmph. Not particularly."

Syl interjected an invitation for Sage and Quistis to join her in her room for some wine, and Sage laughed. "I'd love to, Syl."

"I'd be delighted," said Quistis, smiling.

"You in, Sydney? Hardin?" Syl asked.

"Uhm..." Hardin still looked a little uncomfortable, and more so at the thought of Quistis and Syl in Syl's bedroom, let alone Sage. "None for me, thank you..."

"Hardin in Sydney? that would be a switch, wouldn't it?" Quistis mused, causing his face to redden slightly again.

"WOO BABY!" Astala cheered.

"Wine, Sydney?" Sage asked, adding her own invitation to Syl's.

Sydney shook his head and went to stand behind Hardin's chair, hugging him lightly. "I think Hardin and I could use a bit of... more private time, after this."

"Suit yourself...heh." Syl grinned.

Sage chuckled. "Just the girls then."

Hardin nodded... and vaguely wondered if he should scrye Syl's room a bit later.
