Spring

I'd been wanting to draw Alma and Zalbag for awhile, as they're my two favorite Beoulves (been fond of Alma since about the time I got her part in the FFT Radio Play, and Zalbag's just an all around great guy - especially compared to his older brother... grrr), and it was the song "Spring", by Richard Shindell, that finally forced me to get off my butt and draw them. Except that they're wearing more spring-like, casual attire than they wear in the game, and therefore are not as immediately recognizable... and in fact with Alma's ponytail not visible, she looks eerily like Quatre Raberba Winner. O_o
But anyway, I'm fairly pleased with this, even if it is my cop-out cell-style shading again. At least I worked with the details this time, and this is also the first time I've really tried to do actual background scenery entirely in CG. In doing so, I found a couple more useful options in Photoshop, too... vwee hee hee... and thus the dandelions all over were made easier than I expected. I like dandelions... for some reason I think Alma would too.
