Kojiro

Ah, Kojiro, from the Pokémon anime... My favorite character... My pretty idiot. ;) He's called James in the North American dub, but... Okay, okay, so I never really knew his Japanese name was Kojiro until recently, and I still call him James all the time. In this picture he looks Japanese (at least to me), and he just doesn't look like a "James" to me. The name Kojiro fits him much better in this case.
Like many pics in my galleries, I drew this one because I find the subject rather attractive. Heheh, too bad he's an airhead. There's this kind of sweet, romantic vulnerability James has, evidenced by the fact he uses a rose as his symbol. (Plus, he's got purple hair! :D My favorite color!) I wanted to capture that kind of vulnerability, but mixed with his sly arrogance. I think I did a fairly good job.
