Jomi

Several years ago, me and my friends were into drawing comic books. Superhero things, mostly, and Jomi (full name Jomarianna), a shapeshifter, was my main character. However, as time went on, and I developed her story and those of her friends in my mind, I discovered I really wasn't making much of a superhero book - it was just a story about young people growing up, except that they had certain superhuman powers which made it a bit more difficult to live normal lives. After awhile, the superhero part of the story became more of a joke. For instance, a friend of hers decided (while drunk) that since he has cool powers, he should go out and fight crime like in the comic books, and he makes himself a costume. And so mostly I started drawing the characters in regular clothing rather than spandex jumpsuits and stuff. Jomi has always been my favorite model, and after a couple years without drawing her, I wanted to see if I could still do it... I think I did pretty well.
