Unmei wa Utsukushiku

The best couple in the Sailor Moon series, without a doubt. (Okay, so I hadn't seen the whole series at the time I drew this, or even more than four episodes with them, but I'd read the episode synopses... Now I've seen all of Sailor Moon S, and my opinion still holds true.) Who cares about their gender - they just make such a great pair, always teasing each other but ultimately devoted... Michiru's so sophisticated and talented but with a playful side, and Haruka, my muse, my alter ego, is so tomboyish and cocky, but with a wistfulness and vulnerability... Next time I do a picture of these two (and I certainly will be drawing them again), I think I'm going to have more Haruka than Michiru, but in this picture it's only fitting that Michiru is the foreground, since the title is taken from the song she sings (I think on the Uranus/Neptune/Chibi-Moon Plus CD), translated as "Fate is so Beautiful". This picture would probably have been better except that Photoshop was freaking out on me during the time I was trying to color it, but looking at it again, I'm not entirely displeased with it...
