Halloween 1999. I always liked the Final Fantasy white mage design, having followed the series since FFI, so it's about time I do something about it, hmm? Unfortunately, I was kind of sick that year (in fact, could barely talk), so there aren't many pictures of this costume... I didn't go anywhere in it. Though it's still in the back seat of my car, just in case I need it... for some reason.

From this picture, it's fairly obvious to see how insanely easy this costume was to make - basically it's a large circle of fabric, folded in half and hemmed, with a slit cut out of the center for my head to fit through. A little extra fabric folded in half, sewed down the back, and then attached inside that slit makes the hood. The red triangles were by far the hardest part, because I didn't have the money to buy a bunch of red fabric... so I sponge-painted them on. It took forever. But hey, it was cheap, and looked pretty good for the price.
