Between the hair, the bad jokes, the desire to entertain, and his birthday being the day after mine, I think Emishi was just made for me to cosplay. Although that thing he wears during the fight with Shido is really ugly... but heck - I may make it someday anyhow, just because Emishi works so well for me.

The ease of assembling his outfit helped too - I already had the jeans and shirt, I got the hoodie, fabric to add the lighter green stripe, and the shoes at thrift stores for a dollar each, the sunglasses (which I had to paint the frames of) and scrunchie in a dollar store... returned pop bottles for the minimal money required to get the dowel and rope for the whip. After that, all I had to do was put my hair up. Sadly, all the pics are of fairly poor quality due to me using a camcorder and video feed instead of an actual camera - hey, we Mugenjou folks don't have much money!

Rouran Dancing Whip! ...His whip is really fun to play with, and I will need to thank Tami for teaching me how to spin flags last summer. Or trying. I did horrible then, but as Emishi, I seemed to get the hang of it finally...
