"...And that's how the monsters ceased to exist!"

Chisato (from Star Ocean 2) just may be my new favorite female video game character. Then again, maybe not... Celes, Faris, and Rydia are pretty stiff competition. But at any rate, I really like Chisato, to my surprise. When I initially got her in my party, I thought she was a pretty cool character simply because she was a good fighter, had a great attitude, and yet was a complete klutz. Useful and amusing - a good combination. Then I got a private action of hers which I won't go into detail about, cause it's spoilerish, but was pleasantly surprised to discover she's pretty intelligent, too.

So anyway, I had to draw her. I'm pretty pleased with most of the CG work, though the background ticks me off... I wanted something like tons of flash bulbs going off, as she's both a reporter and a glory hog, and when I mentioned this to a Photoshop guru co-worker, he mentioned a program that could do exactly that with no problem. Too bad it costs $400! :P So instead, I had to settle for a whole bunch of lens flares. And for some reason the compression looked real crappy in my browser for half a day no matter how high quality I used... seems to be fixed now, but I'm not convinced.
