Ashley Catches a Cultist!

Another one of those things that came into my mind as I was trying to fall back asleep early in the morning... Though initially it was just the sight gag, then I realized the connection with the names... and as I was drawing in the last panel for Callo and Hardin's commentary, those last two lines of dialogue popped into my head, and I started laughing out loud. Figured that was reason enough to add them.

The above pic is shrunk down a little, so you can click on it to view the larger copy if the lettering's hard to read... I forgot to make the lettering bigger than usual - it's been a couple years since I laid out a comic page at all, much less with dialogue.

One last note on this - it inspired a hilariously random comment from Onsen on IRC the night I finished it:

<Mullenkamp> "Who's that apocalyptic prophet!?"
<Bumblebee> "It's Doduo!"

Ahh... now there's a fan art I've really gotta do someday - a Doduo wearing Sydney's pants and giving people death-stares. :D
