The Bluest Skies
FF8's Laguna Loire, by way of ending FMV screencap and CorelDraw filters. First Winamp skin I ever actually finished, though I've started half a dozen others... actually, I think the first one I ever started was also a Laguna skin. Anyway, works with or without the equalizer, doesn't yet include the browser (does anyone use that?) and the quote up top is taken from "Better Things", by The Kinks. Though I admit I've only heard the Dar Williams cover.

The Last Blessing
In which I get conceited and presume that anyone but myself would care to use a skin made from my fan art. As with the above, it's got everything but the browser; unlike the above, it doesn't look so hot without the equalizer. I was listening to "Bitten to Death by Rats" by James Kochalka Superstar over and over as I was putting the finishing touches on this, yet somehow I restrained myself and used the name of a room in Vagrant Story for a title instead.

River City Amp
Uhhh... I was bored, and River City Ransom rocks. And the edited logo was a happy accident. Nothing more to say about this one, really... Except that I've always liked Ryan better than Alex for some reason. And hmm, I always liked Jimmy better than Billy in Double Dragon, too. I think I have a 2P fetish.

Watching You
I gave Boa's "For Jasmine" to Hardin and Josh as their song awhile back. They give me warm fuzzies, albeit very angsty ones. Anyhow, they did say at the beginning of the game that the body was not eternal, but the soul...? Which makes me wonder what Hardin might have been doing after the game's ending... Though it doesn't fit into my fanfic continuity, the idea that he might keep looking out for Joshie appealed to me. Much thanks to Jay, who provided the ending screenshot and the MP3 of the song.

Samus Amp
Made at the request of Starmie Knight, and very gladly - it gave me an excuse to play through a bit of Super Metroid again. And look through the instruction booklet. Mmm, Metroid. There has never been another female main character as outright cool as Samus, if you ask me.

Orrizonte
Never mind that Babelfish says "orizzonte" is the correct spelling... title's taken from the Suikoden II arranged album. Or rather, the title track. If you squint really hard, you might be able to make out the lyrics (or traces thereof) off to the left of my two favorite mercs. The castle is a photo I found on Google... apparently the University of Edinburgh, as far as I can tell. But it fits nicely.

Child Inside
Blame Jay for getting me and my VS muses hooked on Boa. In this case, a lyric hit a little too close to my take on Sydney. (And no, that's not Joshua in there.) Anyhow, this skin has two different equalizer versions, because some use the equalizer for its intended purpose, and some (like me) mostly just like it for the extra creative space. So in the zip is Eqmain1.bmp - if you want a non-transparent equalizer, rename that to Eqmain.bmp.

In The Eye
My VS muses are also hooked on Suzanne Vega lyrics. Anyway, one of my favorite screenshots, from one of my favorite scenes. I learned accidentally that this skin looks pretty freakin' cool against a black background.

Dread-Snake
...Yes, I'm a dork. :P I love Dread-Snake. The hair, the shades, the shirt... :D I'm thinking I might do a series of DDR skins, really, but Snake here is who I always choose when I'm 1P. (So much for the 2P fetish.) And for some reason I particularly enjoy making him dance to "So Many Men". Like I said, dork.

God Save the Quen
No, that's not a typo. Except that I vaguely remember that I got this idea from #fret, so... it could have been based on someone's typo. Dunno, it's just silliness.

Shine On
The Flame Champion from Suikoden 3... if I explained why, it would be a spoiler. But it does make sense. I'm thinking I may make this a series of three skins, really...

Catch Us If You Can
My favorite shot from the opening of Get Backers. Goes well with an oldies song I remember... Anyway, not much to say about this. Watch the show - it's good!

Violin
Screencap courtesy of Kris, who did a lot of reconstructing, because this was actually a panning shot. So did I, actually. ...I love Ban. So much that I had to stop halfway through skinning this and write a fic too.
