AMVs
Get Backers
Dancing Whip Myself
My first attempt at one of these suckers, starring Emishi Haruki from Get Backers. Set to Blink 182's cover of the classic Billy Idol song, "Dancing With Myself"... with a punny title because come on - it's Emishi.
Hera and Kite
Another Get Backers AMV (it's the only thing I have enough footage from to make these!), telling the story of Hera and Kite to the tune of Dar Williams' "Mark Rothko Song". Which is apparently about a woman who's in love with a tortured artist. Fitting, hmm? Spoilers for the Venus de Milo plot arc.
Kakei Does Not Dance
And in this one, I mock Kakei Juubei using everyone's favorite fake German industrial/tech artist: KOMPRESSOR. What better song for Juubei than "KOMPRESSOR DOES NOT DANCE"? (I mock because I love, Juubei-han! <3)
Get Backers Picture Show
A tribute to the utter crack that is in this series - or just me mocking pretty much every character, you decide. Utilizing Me First and the Gimme Gimmes' rendition of "Science Fiction Double Feature", from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. (I do feel a little guilty about the "Dr. X" line in the first chorus...)
These Lines of Lightning
Unapologetic Ban/Ginji shipping, in all their dorky bickering slashiness. Upon hearing the line from which I yanked the video title, it was obvious it had to be done. Music is "Accidentally In Love", by Counting Crows.
Gravity
The Masaki muse insisted there was enough footage of him and Teshimine in the series for me to make them a slashy AMV. I'm still not convinced, but I tried. Music is "Gravity", by Vienna Teng. Spoilers for the last anime arc.
Toobular Boobular Joy
The Get Backers manga is not really a hentai series, but sometimes I think Ayamine forgets that. Man, some of the stuff in here is scary. This is the product of me finding a couple MST3K skits in my MP3 folder, and recalling certain manga panels... and it's definitely not worksafe.
Christmas in Mugenjou
Featuring my very favorite holiday song ever, by Weird Al Yankovic. ...I really have nothing else to say about this one, it speaks for itself.
Travellin' Butcher
From the title, I bet you can guess who this is about - all silliness, set to the tune by King Tammy, a local band who broke up about ten years ago, probably never thinking that their music might make it into an AMV. The main link above leads to a 20mb high-quality version; this link leads to a 3.5mb but lesser-quality version.
Yami no Matsuei
Untitled
I have no idea what I should call this thing. Hisoka and Tsuzuki, particularly during the Kyoto Arc, to the tune of Vienna Teng's "Eric's Song". Because, I mean, man. Spoileriffic for the entire series, pretty much.
Crystal Sicko
I could have used the Doors' original version of "Crystal Ship" for this little romp through Muraki's creepiness - but then it would have just been creepy, and not wrong and silly. Since I preferred it wrong and silly, because I like making fun of Muraki, I used X's cover. Spoilers for various sick things Muraki has done throughout the series.
